He invalidates his argument basically in the first 5 minutes and makes perfect case why GGG should keep the nerfed drop as is :D

It is kinda hilarious if you think about it, he argues for making perfect items which presures average gear into being worthless (or cheaper as he mentions it) - it is exactly how you nerf the economy game in PoE so the average items retain value.


I kinda agree , good riddance. If the access to super items will be restricted, people might stop crying that the game is too easy on the top end.
Too bad they will be greedy and since they got the taste of mass juicing, mass rewards, they will now have to either adapt or get the fck out.

If his motivation is to play much to get perfect items, too bad for him. I will likely enjoy more slower economy in the game by killing the mass juicing.

Not to shit on Path of Matth, his take on crafting is much more on point, and there are some real good arguments why itemization is much bigger problem than overall drops.
