It's a bag of wank for melee. I had to grind acts to level 77 and still walked into maps with sub 4k life.

have to agree with him...
Even , even if I hate streamers only because they rage when they cannot get the mageblood in 2 days of time, they are still right, without them the game would be just a small better clone of d2 that would have never grew like this and expand so much. I know GGG probably doesn't believe this, and they need to stand the ground and not really say "yea streamers have brought and they bring us a lot of funds" , but that's true. Cuz maybe you play cuz you like Ghazzy's builds ( which they gutted league after league), or maybe you love WardLoops, or maybe you play for MTX. Despite the reason you play, you play cuz you saw that thing you liked somewere, which is cascading mkt. But GGG over the years have literally butchered every way people have had fun. And this was the final straw were they literally butchered the currency that kept people striving for going further. They also destroyed crafting to a way that half of league mechanics are now just random things popping on your maps. Tainted fusings, useless , Harvest ?, they finally scrapped that out... What's the point of having this mechanics if you cannot use them to strive for something. And what's the point right now to have trade, when everything is just spiking out from players who just got lucky with a random roll ( cuz who the hell is identifying all those damn rares) At this point I would rather play SSF, but it's the same s@it cuz I cannot craft anything , except life and rez on my gear. Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

He is one of those new age kids that got addicted to POE fast play and mass currency pick up. He states most uniques and rare items are crap, taking a dump on all oldschool supporters that helped growing this game in the initial days. "The people like myself used to make near perfect mirror tier items" -- Path of math. An entire rant that in the end he wont be able to make those items this league and that regular items will be too expensive for the casual player where he should have said that items will become more valuable to a player when they aqcuire them. With the update GGG cut in his league profits and that is what it is all about. Great video, GGG are a complete disaster at this point everything they touch turns to shit, and they just triple down on everything they're doing wrong.

It's basic logic people, If people that are dedicated to optimizing the game can't do things what hope do the rest of the players have of doing it?
Most players juice maps in one way or the other. Most players craft items in one way or the other. If it is broken at the top level chances are it is broken at your level. I didn't TFT augs in harvest but my free divines are gone and chaos crafts gutted. I didn't do 100% deli maps with all the trimmings but I did run low scarabs, some deli, some kirak mods and sextants. Sure they lose more than we do in absolute numbers but relative to what it was before everyone is in the same boat. Whether we like it or not a video from empy or asmongold is going to have more pull on GGG than the topics on these forums and we can be happy that the streamers and content creators are doing what they are. |
