Ritual and Archnemesis were the best leagues in terms of numbers (for quite obvious reasons). What's funny is that, according to steamcharts at least, Ritual had the best retention in month 2 compared to any other league, yet all the changes post Ritual were invoked in the name of "better player retention"...which was never achieved. Ritual had almost the same average in month 2 as in month 1, which is HUGE, and still almost half playing in month 3. Again, huge. This never happened post 3.13, Ultimatum was the closest and everything after it just continued tanking.

Archnemesis was a little boost and did good compared to Scourge and Expedition, but that was to be expected from an expansion. Then Sentinel pretty much tanked because a lot of people quit right at the start due to...guess what! Archnemesis going core.

Sure, there's a possibility Steamcharts doesn't give the full picture (since a lot of people don't play via Steam), but of all the leagues you could complain about retention, I am 100% sure Ritual was not the right one. Ritual was the most popular league POE ever had, you can tell from the numbers, and general opinion of people posting here, on reddit and in game chat. It might not be EVERYONE's favorite, but I am 1000% sure it wins the majority. And for some reason GGG wants to stray further and further away from that.

Give people 3.13 with all the expansions introduced in 3.17 (even archnemesis was nice, but the way it was in the league, not the abomination it is now) and I can guarantee they'll be happy for the next 3 months. And you can use the time to think of some actually good and meaningful changes. I am completely fine to pretend 3.19 never happened if you are.
I couldn't buy fortify as a melee duelist in act 4 because i haven't had one alch drop for me so i had to wait until later in act 5 to drop one regret to buy an alch from a vendor to buy a support gem. I played to act 6 and my conclusion is ty but no ty. GGG went in completely deny mode and i am passing this leag or this game until loot is back.

looks pathetic, no one major issue fixed. How am I must craft "high item bases" if is there are dropped nothing worthy?
Honestly, this patch does NOTHING. Not seeing any improvements that would make this league more fun.

Half of people in the guild and friend's list already gone. Trade wasn't pleasant before - now it is nonexistent. League mechanics are so raw - reminds of good old days back in 2015 when nothing was tested (but at least we had things like immortal aura stackers to play with) - and it was FUN.

Now loot is gone. From a loot game. Not having enough currency to roll maps to sustain them pretty much did it for me at the start of red maps.

Huge change from what PoE used to be. Been here since beta. Have a bad feeling that this could be the end of a beautiful friendship.

REVERT BACK ALL 3.19 changes "except league mechanic" otherwise you will have no players left at the end of this month, also we won't be supporting your company with our wallets until you do so.
can we get the lower currency shards and vendor orbs 1/2 cost? that way noobs can collect more and build currency a bit.
may be like a jeweller for a 4 link or a fuser if a rare has 4+ mods. im at 600 hours and i still like picking everything up and having a look but i get nothing for it.

i like the reduction in drops, but the high end drop rate needs to be a lot more frequent because too much is useless mixes of mods. its fun to find though now give me something for picking up junk all the time :)
