Does GGG really think people are out here ID'ing every rare item that drops hoping to get an upgrade? We're picking up 2 or 3 bases in early maps to craft on to get us to end of red maps, then we're picking up ilvl bases to do proper crafting on. For us to care about ground drops, not only would they need to have smart loot so the mods on it are relevant to each other, but the bottom half of mod tiers need to be deleted at least. People don't care about if an item has T1 life roll on it if it comes with T10 cold res, tier 7 mana regen, Tier 3 reflect and tier 6 strength.
Jeez louise you guys are whiners, just stop playing, the League is fun for lots of people.

So, you removed a massive historic loot buff, and replaced it by a "moderate" 2-3x buff.

In other words:

You nerfed the loot from 'massive' (in your opinion, for us that was just 'normal' as in 'what we have been used to, how it was for a very long time') to moderate, several magnitudes lower.


You just 'forgot' to communicate this in any way, shape or form before the league.


So yeah, aside from the massive nerf to the mobs that were actually rewarding and dropping the good stuff, there probably were no significant bugs, it's just working as intended.


At this point I'm just sad about this game.

It's a masterpiece on so many levels.

Try as I might to get hyped and into a new league, I just can't enjoy playing it any more.

From 3.13 it's just going downhill, the same cycle repeats, I try to get excited for the next league only to be massively disappointed by the global nerfs to everything again and again.



Communication feels dishonest and in bad faith, there is a spin on every single nerf they make.

Chris seems to be on a personal crusade to make this game as hardcore and challenging as possible, if you like it or not.



My only hope by now is that once you get your 'Hard version' out, maybe then you might allow players like me to have fun with this game again by making the 'easy version' fun once more.


Very sad about this vision of yours as this was a game I absolutely loved.

Lol its funny you say that when you barely even reach act 2...
I'm loving the drop rate change because it made the items roll significantly better. Items are actually worthwhile identifying.

The only downside is less reason to do the chaos recipe, but that's fine I guess.
Good job GGG, you are getting worse league after league.

Fortunately, you have released the new mystery boxes.
It works as intended.
All i can say is if your happy with the current drop rate's hard mode might be for you.

This feel like a sneak peak what hard modes drop rate will be like.
Unless if hardmode drop even less loot.
Just remove Archnemesis. It's the worst thing you've done in the last year. It doesn't add anything to the game. There is no way to balance this and how the mods stack upon each other. It's even worse when it stacks up with other league mechanics.

With Harvest you took away all of the flavor. Just because you give us something does not mean you also have to take something away. You CAN just give us the QoL this harvest change should have been without taking away a majority of the usefulness. I don't know why you always have to have the scale so heavily balanced towards the side that takes things away from players.
actually love the changes and am loving the direction the game is going :) groups have printed currency and dominated the markets for too long!!! this makes the solo player more relevant within the economy.

It is stupid to be printing 3-5 mirrors a day and we all know they RMT in the background.. get rekt xD

I will for sure be playing longer and having more fun this league :)
