I'm pretty sure the game is still rendering at full ultrawide, and then they just slap black bars on the side.

So you still get the performance of 5120x1440 even though you are only getting something like 3440x1440 displayed.

I played in like half the widescreen resolution i posted above maybe less and that slight bit of zoom massively increased performance.

now you're adding all these mtx which are burning my gpu in town while those performance losses are still in effect.

One of the biggest draws outside of this game actually being good was that it had good performance for many years (not speaking of client performance) just the toll it takes out on the hardware.

I could run your game in the background behind a lot of other intensive things and not worry about it but now i do have to actually close your game where i would otherwise leave it open.
