" Yet 32:9 wasn't even removed for this, neither an argument that GGG used to justify it. As said previously, it doesn't give any advantage on a real 32:9 display, the added elements on screen are on the edges of your FOV, it's jsut a immersion feature. Abusing it on a windowed client with smaller screens is another issue, and can be adressed by much smarter ways than a braindead "just kill it". At this point, the feature was there for a decade, one more year with it in it's current state wouldn't have been a huge issue. Just touch it when the complete fix is ready to go. If it really is an issue for races and PVP, there are ways to juste disable it on thoses specific content too... and let 99.9% of the 32:9 playerbase enjoy a more immersive game.
