Was expecting to zoom zoom with mageblood, but only just realized how much cyclone slows the movespeed without stampedes

Is cyclone the best way to trigger icestorm, or are there alternatives to this?

Since you are using Cast while Channeling to proc Icestorms, you could use any channeling skill. We used to use Winter Orb way back before Cyclone was changed to channeling skill. However Cyclone is the only skill that lets you move while channeling, which is what makes it so good. The ability to keep moving while putting out damage is not only good for faster map clearing, but also one of the best defenses in the game.

You could either try to get a cheap watchers eye, and a nature's patience (if you want to play the lottery and don't already have corrupted blood immunity, buy a few of these and toss vaal orbs at it...that's how I got my corrupted blood immunity early)

Or you can buy cheap Forbidden Flesh/Flame jewels on Heartstopper and allocate One Step Ahead.

The Ambush/Assassinate ones are the expensive ones at 5+ div a piece. Just picked mine up today, should be nice to start using them.
Feeling very good on this build, want to push DPS a bit more to deal with tankier expedition mobs. What would be the best parts to upgrade? I've started trying to build a crucible tree for whispering ice, but that's going to take a bunch of time and effort.

I've got about 25 divs that I can put back into this build right now. Would forbidden flesh/flame be my best investment right now?

Edit: Found the jewels for relatively cheap, so picked them up. I updated the PoB. I guess the only thing left would be a level 4 enlighten so I can fix my skill tree a bit and then potentially a crucible + amulet upgrade

Step 2:

Gather any warstaff bases with t4 node either 10% STR/10% INT or 10% DEX/10% INT

Heya, I am trying to do exactly that, but how to trade for T4 in poe.trade? I can only find T2...
guys i have a quick question, i wonder why we do not use pain attunement ?

i'm sure that we have a good reason, but as we are on low life i cant see any good reason to explain why it should not proc

"Low life" means your health is 50% or less of your max health. With CI, your max health is 1. This means we are at 100% health all the time we are alive. Pain Attunement would start working when your health drops to 0/1, but that also means you are dead.
ohhh of course i understand the logic thank you, so it means that "when on full life" should proc with our build ?

Indeed, we're always on full life.
ok thank you !
I just want to say that I've been running Kelvyn's Icestorm builds for almost 2 years now and tonight was my first time to beat level 30 simulacrum. This league is also my first time beating Maven as well. Even though I have almost 2000 hours in-game I still consider myself very casual, never making enough currency to max the build. I got lucky on a drop last week and turned a quick 50div that allowed me to max out the build minus the crucible staff and it's allowed me to clear all the content I've been wanting to do. I don't think I will be able to complete all the Uber bosses, but just due to my lack of experience with them.

As always thank you Kelvyn for your hard work on your guides. I will never have the time to dedicate to making my own builds from scratch and you have allowed me the opportunity to enjoy this game for like I said, 2000 hours. Otherwise I would have given up from being so overwhelmed.
