[3.25] Ice Dancing Queen - Icestorm/Cyclone/CI - Viable For Everything

I had a spare time today to play and decided to make a quick video showing the speed of crit version clearing a map full of hard mods usually, like no regen.

This character has no block and is immune to elemental reflect!

The only map mod that cant be done is cannot leech! (can be if you replace the Emperor's Wit with a Discipline ES on hit Watcher's Eye)

https://youtu.be/cY8nkgnyxjs

Hope you guys enjoy!

Thanks for taking the time to record that and to keep putting resources out there to help people pick up the crit version. It really is a smooth, enjoyable, adaptable mapper.
I am finally in the switch to crit - what HAS to be changed? My plan is the following...
Replace this beauty:

With a similar 18%int belt, without Spideraspect but with additional STR.
Then I will craft End Charges on these triumvirate:

I will then change my beloved Opportunistic-Forbiiddens against way cheaper Deadly Infusions, add the gems, shuffle my tree around, add my just bought emperors wit and am ready to go? Do I miss something?

Edit: So I got to do one final change, which hurts me bad because this was such a huge invest - do I really have to change this beauty?

Edit2: Ofc I need a new ring and a new Amulet on top IF Endurance Charges are a must, because these are suffixes and only one ring as an open suffix - my bad. So need more cash. At least for the amulet, the ring could be recrafted...

Just looking quickly at your gear, you're right about having to change the crafted rings, etc to balance the resists, str etc. It's the biggest challenge as you adapt/optimize this build in any way that requires using your suffix mods. I have spent far more on essences doing this than on any piece of gear. I would also state though, that you can substantially lower the levels of your immortal call, increased duration and not see as much impact as you might think.

I would absolutely swap auras though from hatred to zealotry and grab a bottled faith. It works much better for a crit version.

Also, you absolutely don't have to change your body armor to run crit Those implicit mods are beneficial but not needed. This is my first league playing this build, and I started the league late, but this is just about my favorite build I've played so far. I love it because it is not only effective, but very adaptable. ALso, the initial guides are really excellent and the discussion/support by posters is great.

My build doesn't show up on Poe.ninja for whatever reason (hitting 100 late?), but I am running a different crit variant with high damage that I came to basically just messing around with Whiterock's version and referencing as I finished the last levels and adapting around the gear I had. I tried for a best of both worlds approach, and it was mostly just experimenting and seeing what worked better for me.

I posted the basics of what I did a few weeks back, but took it down as it was a messy write up and I needed to get a couple things sorted, and then had some stuff on the home front that needed my attention for a while. I will try to take some time today to post a more efficient write up. Maybe it will help you think about some options that might work for you.

You can check out my character to see what I did in the interim if you're interested.

@milkytwix Vahkerr is right, you dont have to change your itens at the beginning.
The concept that i introduced few posts ago with gem levels, item implicits and so on was an optmized way that i found to balance survivability and low craft cost items.

You can change defensive gem lvls to fit your current STR without much impcat on survivability.

The idea behind chest implicits and endurance charges is to prevent one-shots from happen. And my current setup do it greatly!

You can try the variation with your itens, and then if necessary you gradually replace then.

Keep in mind, that the regular setup with block is better, BUT to clear maps efficiently and do uber pinnacle bosses, you'll need a great investment on items.

The crit version allow you to kill all uber pinnacle bosses efficiently for sure with few deaths until you get used of boss mechanics and fast clear any map(because can do all map mods), to make currency faster and is way cheaper to make.

In summary, both variations have the same goal: Do all game content.
The block variation is immortal but come with the price of high div value itens.
The crit do the same content faster and efficiently in terms of divs/hour and is way cheaper, but the price is the deaths until you reach some defensive degree.

One more video of crit variation, this time wave 30 simulacrum!
Sadly not hard mods, but is enought to have an idea about survavibility and damage output.

Messing around on my next league start character and recorded a video!

https://youtu.be/bWxD450L7k0

PoB: https://pastebin.com/fRidiuLj

A really Low Budget VS the Maven!

Level 93, no jewels, crap jewlery, crap helm, no helm enchant and no right alt quality/gems and levels.

Forgot to chance the enlighten 4 for a 3, but does not change anything. The free mana goes from 275 to 199. With a mana flask like i'm playing is completly fine.

There are few changes to do on start like add "whispers of doom", but is working great.

Hope you guys check this out and enjoy!
Hey guys, sry for being repetitive, but i was messing with my league start test and want to share how its going with you. Equipped real low budget items expected to have on the end of day 1 or beginning of day 2 of the new league, and low level / quality gems and tryed to do some T16 maps and few bosses! Still lvl 93!

Recorded killing the maven again:
https://youtu.be/KEraZjbv_9s <- Deaths expected!

PoB : https://pastebin.com/07nVan0B

Follow the items used on clip:

Still thinking a way to fit "Whispers of Doom" on this lvl and greatly increase the damage on bosses, but not sure how!

Obs.: The staff does not need to be 6L, just 6S... does not change anything, it was just a spare staff that i used for test!

Few more videos of low budget preparation for next league start.

All 4 bosses for Atlas Voidstones and Sirius as bonus!

Searing Exarch : https://youtu.be/BJTnhyoN0sI
Eater of Worlds : https://youtu.be/QXB3VQMW0ro
Uber Elder : https://youtu.be/qqmpQ6LSVNo
The Maven : https://youtu.be/KEraZjbv_9s
Sirius : https://youtu.be/BSCjFkNBZNM

On this videos i was using "Spellbreaker" instead "Heartstopper". Heartstopper seems to be better overall. I was just testing before record the videos and forgot to change back!

i never play league as i usually don't like the mechanic of it. but, first time i've ever dropped a HH. was a T14 101% quantity Crater map boss drop

poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead
