Yes the skill gem numbers been reduced but you forgotten that they boosted the base life of the minions which cancels out a lot of this reduction and depending on how minion life is calculated once we get some minion life boosts we might be better off than before.
Thanks for the explanations. I thought the base value was somewhere in the gem text so, I was a little worried to see only that difference ^^

Will the caustic ground from the new mark gem Alchemist Mark stack with, for example, Caustic Arrow caustic ground?
