Dont worry, they helped acts by reducing your mana efficiency mastery. So you can do it all with fewer auras than before.

You know full well it was implied white/blue/rare. We literally all know about Tabula and Skin of the Lords/loyal. ( edit! It's only Tabula we're talking about, Skin of can't drop in act 1!)

act 1 is indeed rather fun because it s more intense.
act 6.5 to 10 are a snoozefest.

and rhoas seriously ? you can just avoid them, sure the first few times you will die but after that, are they really that hard to avoid ?

Once you get out of the first or second act, difficulty is much more diluted. Sometimes in act 3 yes, there is the general gravicius that wakes you up and lunarius temple and porcupines will troll you a bit :) but act 1 and 2, you re more focused and it feels better. The world is really trying to kill you. And watering it too much would completely change the feeling of the gme. For a new player experience it s nice that the world "jumps" at you.

The problem anyway is they cant balance for people that know the game and new players at the same time. new players will have trash resists at merveil and take 2 to 3 times more damage at the minimum without knowing the mechanics and probably have low damage when a more experienced player will either avoid most of the damage and have 50% resist and some good damage. How can you balance that ? that s why there is this discussion with easy and hard mode.

And I played gauntlet both in a super hard version and the last easier version. Well, in the easier version, it was kinda boring at the start ! In the harder version the spider in act 2 was a fucking challenge. But more people played the easier version and got some experience in a harder mode so again, we see that depending of experience in it, you cant balance for 2 groups with huge disconnect in knowledge. Firts time i started gauntlet i got completely rekked. And now that i understand more the game, i get bored when it s too easy :D because i have to wait until maps to have a challenge. And then i die in maps and i am like, 10-15 hours to have more of a challenge ? hum i ll pass.

Well my 2 cents on the fact that having some difficulty in acts can feel good. We will see how they do that in poe 2.

Avoiding them is a good way to get overwhelmed by multiple ones charging, stunlocking you, and squish dead.

Not everyoen who plays PoE has years of experience. You need to think about new people who just started the game and know literally nothing.
You cant greet those people with things like that or they will leave same day they started and never come back.

OK, Cake exaggerated a bit. You can only get 6l armours if you are very lucky and get several Tabulae Rasae.

Not sure about 4L, but 4S can drop from strongboxes with the "of complexity" mod -if you happen to have fusings, you can then 4L these items.

You can also find Orbs of Binding or buy them from other players and make a rare 4L.

And if we don't limit ourselves to 6L armours, there's Oni Goroshi, that Denizen mentioned. It's a guaranteed 6L if you're willing to invest the effort - it will easily carry you to where real 6L can drop and beyond.
