3.0 was the boat league, you got on a boat to flee oriath and got on a boat to fight the brine king and got on a boat to go back to oriath.

Gosh damnit that sounds or appears so much more awesome, than hideout maps. Why not just make open zone traveling nomad wagon towns. For guilds to hangout outside with too & npc versions & monster traveling horde versions.

Isolated zones & portals have to go, this game has so much potential to have lasting new endgame zones, that aren't maps. Yet open fields bridged.

I play Planetside 2, they just released a boat update like 1 week ago, heh. We yell " boats! ", underwater base fights too. Now POE'ers want boats heh.

If y'all get to ask for random stuff like boat leagues or fishing. Than mmo features really shouldn't be a issue.

Not really.

Two leagues ago PoE got 4 new bosses and one of them had a lake full of brownish watery turds as a boss arena.

I assume the trailer simply showed a phase of a new boss arena.

BOAT LAKE of KALANDRA LEAGUE Overview

*16 new Boat-related currencies to repair, upgrade, and register your Boat

*24 new Boat related skill gems, including Caulk Forbidden Rite, Caulk while Channelling, Chain Hook Support, and Tack

*New Airborne archnemesis modifier for birds and flying creatures. Airborne monsters can use projectile skills from above the player in a new, separate layer of the map. This is in addition to the familiar ground degen map layer and the plane-of-engagement skills and effects the player may use.
