Of course. "Cop didn't see it, I didn't do it" :P
Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.
You can ride a motorcycle at night without insurance and license if the police DO catch you.

The outcome might be different but you still did it. Go you. Sorry, your friend.

Huh. My mace dude is now an actual cultist of Chayula. That's kinda wild.
If you're the incautious type that would skip insurance and license, something with the potential for real injury (like a motorcycle) may not be the best choice. Getting a license shouldn't be that difficult. Paying for insurance just requires a little bit of work unless you already have a bad driving record.

Do yourself a favor and consider things carefully first. Real life doesn't have a restart in town button.

If you want to go from A to B, bad idea - not just because of potentially being pulled over by the police but also because of what might happen insurance-wise if you get into an accident.

If you just want to have fun, it probably depends what the rules are where you live. E.g. in Austria and Germany you can ride whatever you want without licences and insurance on private land and roads. The only legal requirement is that the area has to be inaccessible for the general public and that there are signs posted.

The downside are all the accidents, often involving children, because people do stupid shit and/or overestimate their abilities and underestimate their rides.

This, and you do two things:

-You signal boost the numpties who think all motorcycles are death wishes and go around calling them "donor cycles" and forbid their sons and daughters ever learn to ride one safely or otherwise.

-You put yourself and other people at needless risk.

I live in an area where vehicle insurance is legit highway robbery (pun intended) and licensing is relatively expensive and cumbersome. That said, you can get your employer to cover partial costs if you use your car or bike for work. Look into it in your area.

If for some reason cost isn't the issue, and there's a different reason why your licence isn't valid or you cannot get insurance, that's on you. The rules exist not to arbitrarily piss you off. They exist to ensure each and every driver meets at least a minimum level of mental and sensory fitness to operate a motor vehicle where other people are trying to do the same. And that your vehicle is fit to operate without burning up or falling to pieces in the roads.

Oh and also --Your lack of personal responsibility indirectly jacks up the insurance rates for other motorcyclists like us who have to deal with it. Knock it off.

I know someone who couldn't afford their motorcycle insurance, decided to get a second job to cover the insurance and that second job made the person a multimillionaire by their early 40's.
