Drop Chance -> Dyadian Dawn & Rain of Splinters

Hi everyone!

Been playing Sentinel league since the very start.
Been following a successfully streamer (ziz) build guide for EA champ.

So far, regarding unique gear, what I have seen dropping systematically (and yes, with systematically i mean every single day) is quite far the equip I should be having on my toon (or any other toon for that matter...). And i'm not going to even mention my luck(or bad luck actually) with my bow crafting...
When I look at streamers playing EA champ (ziz or quin for instance) they have Dyadian Dawn & Rain of Splinters for quite some time now.

So I wonder: what events should I been doing, in order to trigger the drops for both those unique items which, are critical for EA build.
I mean, wtf!? Isn't 3 weeks of farming enough? Really? Maps + delve + heist + lab all done... come on, what am I doing wrong peeps?

They are both fully random drop, so you're largely at the mercy of RNG.

For your mapping, make sure you're running maps where relevant card sets such as The Wretched or Garish Power can drop. Use Divination scarabs on those maps whenever possible, or Reliquary scarabs if you're out of Div. Also don't forget about stuff like Diviner, Jeweler, or Singular Delirium Orbs. When it comes to farming extra content like Heist/Temple/Meta etc, make sure you're targeting the right reward types for those items (and div cards) as much as possible.

Basically, all you can really do is improve your odds more generically by targeting the specific item types you need rather than the specific items.

Unless you have a reason not to, it's far easier to just trade for those items since you are playing in a trade league. Those 2 items aren't even expensive at this point in the league.

Yep, there's that, too. Could just be a goal to farm everything up personally though. I'm usually that way for most things I want to do. Even in trade leagues, whether temp or Standard, I generally avoid trade like the plague. The only reason I don't do SSF is for keeping the option of party play open.

It's my objective, in this league, to farm all by my self, as I would like to make a (slow) transition into SFF, since I have never played in a team in POE so far. Therefore, for me, trading for both items is, for now, out of question (and yes, poe.ninja "told me" both items are quite cheap for some time now).

In any case, I will try @aggromagnet suggestions and see if my luck improves.

I farmed them both solo last league on a fresh ungeared character, some tips might help.

For Dyadian Dawn, I chance orbed all normal heavy belt I found, used all my ancient orbs on belts, and delved a lot for fire items nodes; finally dropped my first one on level 83 in a delve fire node.

For Rain of Splinters, I did not find any way to force, too many jewels to chance / ancient orb it, I dropped it at 99,71 randomly on a map, so at that point I did not even used it while I hit level 100.

I think the belt is mandatory, but even the clear was not that bad without the jewel during all the way.

I have tried to change heavy belts and also some gems, but no luck so far.
I'll try the fire nodes in delve as you suggested, might have some luck then.

Already today i was farming tower map (yes lvl 2 one) and I didn't manage to find any wretched div card, but I managed to drop an exalt out of a freaking harbinger. So I guess it's easier to drop rare coin rather then rare equip...lol

Not really easier, that's just rng. I dropped 3 Dyadian Dawn this league so far. The first was in the box at the end of the Eternal Lab, the other 2 were just random drops off mobs in maps. This doesn't mean you'll have an easier time dropping it in the lab, it just means that's where the rng tripped for me.
