Vulcan error - Error device lost

Bump, constantly getting this error in TOTA, occasional mapping. Don't recall seeing it before 3.22 but maybe I'm not remembering.

I don’t know if this will help you, but I was able to fix all the crashes on Vulkan.
I found that with such a crash, the system log shows an error with the Kernelbase file, I googled it and they gave me some advice.

First, I reinstalled all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ and installed all the others as 2013 and 2015, as well as Net Framework and Runtime.

Then I installed all the optional updates in Windows Update, like “cumulative updates for WindowSx64”.

And now I started launching the game through the PathOfExile_x64 shortcut, which is also located in the game folder. And sometimes Msi Afterburner displayed that the game does not run on it, but on Dx11 for some reason, now it always works on Vulkan.

Just happened to me.
this game is such a mess, man.

I started getting this error on PoE v3.23 Affliction League.
Never had this problem before.

My System is as follows:

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X
Gigabyte X670E Extreme Aorus Edition
G.Skill 128-GB DDR5 RAM (6000)
Samsung 990-Pro (x2) NVMe M.2 on [raid-1]
NVidia GTX 1070-Ti
Windows 10 (22H2)
NVidia Graphics Driver v546.33


ALL my applications are up to date.
Windows OS is up to date. (I double checked)


The error I am getting says:
vk::Queue::submit: ErrorDeviceLost


I entered that into openAI,
and was informed by the AI that its a Vulkan Driver.

I went to Steam and checked the integrity of the game files,
and Steam said everything is ok and fine.

I also deleted the cache folder in Appdata Roaming folder,
to see if something funky is going on. (just in case)

Also, since this is my brand new build now even a few months old.
I made sure to turn off the AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics in the Device Manager,
so it ONLY uses my NVidia card.
Yes, I know its an old card, been waiting for the prices to drop to get new 40-series card.

There are no yellow alerts in my device manager and I previously
have been playing every league of PoE without any problem with my 1070-Ti Card
without any problems.
This only started happening in Affliction League v3.23 of PoE.

During this league trying to play this game, I haven't been able to get past ACT-1
because the game crashes every 5 to 10 minutes.
it ruined my league start and streaming I was doing.
Do to the error I am constantly getting that says

vk::Queue::submit: ErrorDeviceLost

or maybe I am doing something wrong or forgot to do something on my brand new

I am having exactly the same issue since 3.23, regardless the minor patch version. Initially, the crashed occurred almost exclusively in town. Now it likes to crash in zones and even in Affliction zones as well. Entered a zone in Act 9 for the fourth time after three crashes in a row.

I hope I will manage to complete the campaign at least. It's really annoying.

Please fix your broken game.
I spent a whole week trying to fix this error on my PC.
It seems to me that people in hell have not suffered more than I have this week.

The only arguments I made.
This may be due to a weak processor.
This may be due to an old SSD or the fact that more than 50% of the total memory should be free on it.
This may be due to a bad monitor, at least you should have a diagonal of 27+ inches, and at least 144 Hz.
There is also a possibility that your drivers on the motherboard are outdated.
The last thing that comes to my mind. So this is that in one half of the day the error occurs about 10 times more often than in the other.

I installed it on my friend’s PC who had never played this project and for several days there were no errors.
But my PC costs about $2,500 and I just don't want to buy or change my current parts just for one broken game.
I really envy those people who don't have this damn mistake.
