So looks like we get a sentinel pet.
Hopefully it will come with it's own skill tree and stuff so we can customize its abilities! Also maybe can put gear on it too, like an AG! maybe it will loot for us too! maybe we can use our pets as a skin for it?!! The Rich Get Richer, the Po Stay Po.

Looks like a pet addon / league mechanic with a semi permanent minion following players around, help doing league mechanics stuff.
Could also be introduced into the base game as permanent functional/non-cosmetic pet giving either QoL (auto identify,increased % item find, and the like) or buffing players similar like golems but are another sub-category. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore "A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see.
