The Gull Raven Mask

With all the nice passives for shrines, I thought I'd make a build that fully utilize that, and bolster it with The Gull Raven mask.

There is two things though.

1. "Trigger Level 1 Create Lesser Shrine when you Kill an Enemy" This is simply not true. It is random and you go sometimes through several packs of monsters before you get a shrine. ( Answered )

2. The click box of the spawned shrines is very clunky. Instead of having a nice flowing zoom experience, you find yourself sometimes clicking 4/5 times on the spawned shrine with character just running back and forth, instead of activating the shrine.

Ahh, that makes sense. I did not expect to have a shrine spawn for every mob, but missed the reason behind it.

Are you ready to pick your effects from the ground because looting currencies from the ground was not painful enough? Yikes.


my personal babyrage about the topic
Almost 10 years and people are still WASTING their time for un-fun things in this game like some literal mammals.


Gull time calculation:

Every 20 seconds, you waste 2 seconds to click that stupid effect. It's 2 sec because it is hard to click. So, almost 3 times in a minute; 6 seconds. Let's say you're playing 3 hours a day. That means 2 hours of farming at it's best. 12 minutes of "Gull effect picking" daily. 3 month league, you play at least 20 days a month, so it's 60 days. 720 minutes = 12 hours.

You just wasted 12 hours of your lifetime for an another un-fun mechanic in this game. Congrats.

This game sometimes makes me so mad I want to kick some bald guy in the face so hard.

It's a valid point, though. I'm levelling a shrine stonks juggernaut right now, and by far the worst part of the build is clicking on the tiny shrines. It's still a lot of fun, but it would be MORE fun if environment interaction wasn't so godawful in this game.
Yeah +1 environment interaction is awful.

Clicking on shrines, influence altars, strongboxes etc means always need to click 2-3 times to hit it. Gets worse the faster your movespeed is. Thankfully, picking up items is easier due to loot filter making them bigger. Wish there was a UI option to scale up the text on environment objects by 200%.

True, but not everybody plays at the same, high pace, and if you change the hit box on Strongboxes, then there'll be a flood of complaints about opening them before the player is ready. You idea of an optional scale-up for the label is good, however. =^[.]^=

But how much time do you save from the buff of a (lesser) acceleration shrine?
The Gull + Shrine nodes essentially replaced Headhunter as far as I’m concerned. Of course you could use both at once…
