Blighted Maps Workaround

There's been a few workaround solutions floating around here and on reddit. Some have found these to be helpful while others have not.

I'd like to offer a reason for why this bug occurs in the first place. I suspect it has something to do with a buggy flag after finishing your campaign and arriving on Karui Shores. You are meant to first complete a map within Karui Shores before Kirac gives you your own map device, which enables blighted maps (including ones offered in his missions). However, as most players run their first maps in their hideout, this flag never gets triggered, causing the headaches we've seen so far.

The solution? Run a blighted mission in Karui Shores from Kirac, and this should solve the problem. Running an ordinary mission within Karui Shores may or may not work. Running a regular blighted map in Karui Shores may not work either. I have no way to test it now unforunately. I wanted to provide everyone some clarification on what you had to do.

TLDR
Run a blighted mission in Karui Shores from Kirac
(And not a regular blight map from Karui Shores).
(Click spamming bad for wrist).

imho you can run portal missions much earlier if you run alot of jun temples in the campaign and so finish one temple.
it also places the map device in your hideout.


but nice hint, especially if it works for blighted maps. it's worth a try if your game is bugged this way

I just noticed that a hotfix was posted yesterday, albeit before my own attempted fix.

Obviously this didn't help me as I was still having issues at the time. This leads me to believe that two seperate unrelated bugs/issues were behind this. This hotfix therefore, is unlikely to work for everyone.
