[SOLVED] Losing internet while playing POE

I have the same problem exactly, and it seems like only happening in maps.
I didn't get a single disconnection while doing the campaign, but in maps I will lose my connection entirely for a few seconds after playing for a couple of miniutes.

Do you lose connection to your router (Globe icon on system tray) or internet connection (still connected to your router but without internet)?

Run winmtr pinging to 8.8.8.8 while you play and if a dc occur, screenshot winmtr and post it here.

Check reliability history in windows 10 and event viewer, it may show any hint at why your network adapter is losing connection.

reliability history doesnt show anything about disconnection.

winmtr:

First loss

after a few min Second loss

After that, when connection is restored

After that, when connection is restored 2. The loss went up, but when i press STOP and Start again, it shows loss 0%

Problem is that we still don't know for sure if it's your router/modem, your pc or the ISP network node that crashes the IP stack.....
That's why I told you how to diagnose this before. However for some reason you don't want to do that (my guess will be on the router/modem)....

what you wrote:

- Windows updates can have done something.
Havent done windows update for 3 months now
- Latest vendor drivers for netcard and motherboard chipset.
Of course i tried to reroll, updated drivers to newest. Nothing worked
- Latest firmware for router/modem.
Cant find the firmware
- Turn off router/modem for 30 minuttes and then on again to force ISP reset.
Ofc i tried it first
- Logs from the system I talked about.
There is no logs about disconnections

Well that was one post yes. However this post VERY clearly tell you how to diagnose a connection issue -->

That sucks but whatever happens it's either on your pc, the router/modem or the ISP.
So you will have to connect a second pc or laptop to the network and start some ping windows and then monitor what happens to those when you loose connection on your game pc.

These are the ping windows you should start on the second pc or laptop -->
- ping 8.8.8.8
- Ping "your default gateway IP" that should be your router/modem.
- Ping the IP on the game pc that looses connection.

On your game pc, you should also start some ping windows -->
- Ping 8.8.8.8
- Ping "your default gateway IP" that should be your router/modem.
- Ping the IP on the secondary pc.

This should give you a very clear image about where the connection is lost.

My guess is still on the router/modem.

sadly I don't think it will be long before we hear from you again. :(
The reason for this, is that the netcorde in PoE isn't really happy for WiFi connections and the way it's latency / packet loss can "pop up" suddenly.

Yes it could be a cable error between your pc and the router/modem. It can also be the netcard driver in your PC, the physical plug in both the PC and the router/modem....

But lets just hope that your WiFi connection and PoE remain good friends. :)
