Ahes of Stars does not excixt b4 league when i was making this guide.

A lot of the midgame upgrades seem to be based around getting Devouring Diadem. I'm in SSF so that's going to take a bit of work but interested in ideas on improving my defense (or for that matter my offense) in the meantime. I'm doing okay in tougher red maps but having a difficult time with guardians, synth bosses, etc right now.

For me big issue is Asenaths interaction with Blight, or, actually, complete incompatibility, it just crashes instances for me, so I want to go without it. I plan to get rare despair gloves + chest with life, spell supp and chaos res. Any other suggestions to replace asenaths and curse chest with?

You right, endgame "damage spike" for this build coming from Diadem, Dying Sun and Frenzy Armour upgrades, tbh diadem not an issue rn aswell as Shaper flask, thx to new atlas tree.

Explodes HUGE QoL because of poison dot mechanics, can't reccommend somethx to replace tbh.

I rebuilded my character on your build, and feels realy realy happy with the changes. The auto perma flask is one of the best sensation in this game.
The build is fantastic... but I still encounter few issus which I struggle with :
- can't run Defiant Banner, even with a 19-20% reservation Ashes of the Stars. I don't get how peoples achieve to run it with 19% amu while I can't ;
- I still die a lot and feel realy squishy, which it makes hard to level up ;
- My dps is ok, but still not enought to melt guardian without dying multiple time.

Banner linked to Inc Duration. I reccomend swap it with Withring step from boots setup, duration will work on Withered Debuffs aswell.

About survability, not enought armour for Guard skill

cus you using Topaz flask, using this on is ok, but if you hit atlest 5-6k on you Molten Shell, time to get watchers with Determintaion Flat armour and maybe bring back Granite flaks, cus you have alot of overcapped Lightning res.
I dont see any surging vitality clusters, life % and butst regen (if you read guide properly) can help with Degens, downside of build on low budgets.
Alt quality Molten Shell will help, Getting Enhance linked with Defiance Banner also ( look at my current gloves setup).
More damage will come from getting Frenzy charges and swapping Vicious proj to Deadly Ailments.
