Hey guys,
I was starting with the explosive-arrow version and transfered into siege ballista right after I got my Iron Commander and Fractal thoughts. After buying a 5-Link body armour I have to say the build feels like last leagues :)
the only thing is that I asked myself if corrupting a rare jewel can be resulting in rain of splinters or do I have to corrupt a unique jewel?
maybe some of you have an idea
greez and happy loot

Rain of Splinters is only obtained by corrupting jewels. This is any jewel whether it be Normal, Magic, Rare or Unique.

The item level used to not matter; I can't be sure after their unique jewel changes but I suspect that is still the case.
The jewel type does matter though, so make sure you're corrupting Crimson Jewels if you are trying to hit Rain of Splinters. From what I can tell it's now a very rare chase item type result though. Typical GGG.

Alright, thanks a lot. The Chase beginns :)
Do you know if the rarity matters? I´m already horting a lot of magic and rare crimson ones just waiting for the right stack of vaal orbs.

Rarity shouldn't matter, just the base type.
