[3.17] Energy Blade Lightning Strike Berserker

Hi, this is slightly off-topic. I accidentally made a ring after awakening slamming, which I think would be very good for this build. I found this build by googling for a ES/Lightning strike build. Would love to hear your thoughts about this ring if it's not too much of an imposition:



Just to be clear this is not a request for offers (although anyone is welcome to contact me), rather I'm trying to figure out if fans of this build would be mortified if I tried to annul a prefix + the cold res mod, instead of trying to slam a new pair of rings :)

Probably my biggest thing for survivability (still get annihilated by lightning DoT), was getting elder rings with +20 life gained per attack. Against groups, that's like 30+ hits per cast x3 for multistrike ends up equaling something like 10k instant life gain per second at full attack speed.

The worst forms of lightning DoT I've found are Eradicator everything, Shaper beam, Baran squares (easily avoidable though), and the dang laser beam sea witch boss.

To be clear, I got assassin's mark/life on attack by using an awakener orb, and the other by spamming an elder ring in harvests for life on attack, to where I had decent other stats and room to craft the -mana cost on it. It took a while and a few ex, but totally worth it.

I have stupid question, what One hander sword is the recommended one to use?

Once you start using energy blade it doesn't matter what weapon you have equipped. Hyaon's fury is a decent option if you don't have enough energy shield to make a decent Energy Blade.

Gonna try this build as my second build in 3.17
Only worry I have is pob is lvl 100 without anything obvious you can skip.
Maybe 1-2 life nodes, and remove precision saving 2 points.

This looks fun but is it noob friendly do u think?

I see the chest piece is like 4ex so I'm guessing this is a tough build to get going, as op states the chest piece is needed.

I wouldn't say its noob friendly, it requires a few somewhat expensive uniques to get going and has some unintuitive mechanics for new players. Its not super advanced by any means but if you are very new to the game theres probably other builds that are more suitable.

Would a Malachai's Artifice be a good ring? It would cover one of the two resists almost entirely and reduce lightning resistance by another 20%, but the no HP and elemental equilibrium might undo the gains from the negative resistance

hi mate, i have a question, Lightning strike don't gain inspiration charge because i don't spend mana with the skill, so i think i'm losing a lot of dmg, can i know what yo can do?
