Last Epoch is POE Killer now

It's intentional. The game only requires you to be able to read skill tags and to press F to forge basic 1x life 1x res 1x damage items. If you're able to do that you won't have an issue until lvl 90 in empowered monolith timelines.
I don't think it's a POE-killer, but I do think it will open up people's eyes for all the BS we've learned to accept in this game. That pull and allure that a game needs to have for you to accept all its negative sides have started to vain a bit for me at least.

LE endgame is so bland and character building is pretty shallow after setting up a basic gear combination that i quit the game after around 50hrs and wont touch it again until there are some major endgame overhauls.

Why PoE have doors in maps to click, you must stop and click this shit all time.
Why we waste so much time for trade when items can be acquired by Circle of Fortune so much better; IMO PoE forces you to trade by crippling build availability.
Why map are items, we don't need this at all.
Why ballista can't be placed on cursor, but in my feet now only?
Why we loose exp on death?
Why no death recap of dmg type at last?
Why PoE is so much one button game while LE got much better skill rotation and burst possibility?
Why we doing so much forced stuff instead of enjoin maps interrupted?
Why we spawn in towns?
Why so many maps are too narrow and dogshit tight?
Why I must so much micromanage before play?
Why crafting is casino RNG slot game?

It's actually a super fun game. The end game systems are fantastic, and the skill trees are deep and well fleshed out.

I think the Death Recap thing might be the only part of this I agree with. I guess it's good that games like Diablo and LE can help scratch the itch for people that think these are good ideas.
Playing Last Epoch I'm feeling like I'm playing my old favorite ballista build in PoE, but systems around game are 2000 % better. It feels so good. LE respect your time in BEST way.

If you like LE that much it's great, hope you have a good time, however please don't try turn poe into LE.
I disagree with most of the points you listed and think LE is super boring, if i imagine a poe without or much less RNG, no death penalties, a SSF easy mode etc. i'd be very sad.
If you feel "forced" so much in poe and think it's a chore it's maybe just not the game for you honestly
