[3.18] 🍄 Sporeguard Incinerate Elementalist 🔥 3-10M Shaper DPS & Tanky 🔥 League Start To Endgame
" Hello again. Glad the changes helped. Yeah I missed the fact you didn't have AS activated either -- that's like 1.5M DPS :p So you are very close to the 9M mark @ about the cost I would expect, so well done. You are in min/max territory in some respect, and I think one of the best things you can do (beside fixing your resists) is gain some levels (until 97). You can then pick up the Infused Flesh or Discord Artisan wheel (depending if u want more DPS or Defense). Another thing to think about, if you are still motivated, is to grind out 15-20ex and buy Forbidden Flesh/Flame -- we can get Shaper of Storms for 10-15% more damage (though we do lose your normal jewels w/ resists, etc.). I'd also recommend experimenting by swapping 2 points somewhere (probably Burden Projection) into Divine Shield for defensive purposes, which gives alot of ES regeneration when hit. Hi,
Can I make one more suggestion for your build? Keep using your current helmet (crown of the inward eye), but switch to the following chest and amulet: - Skin of the lords simple robe. - Ashes of the stars amulet This chest has '2 to level of socketed gems' now. If you combine this with a 'divergent incinerate', a level 4 Empower and a level 4 Enhance and using an 'Ashes of the stars' amulet, then this will push the quality and the level of the incinerate gem up, resulting in a high dps. The quality will result in 43% more damage per stage with a divergent incinerate, instead of the usual 25% per stage. for example: https://pastebin.com/6mNbUdCM Life: 4479 ES: 2344 Armour: 15714 Dps: 10 mil. (with ignite 11 mil.) Oh, and it's better to use frostblink when you use divergent incinerate (you can move, while the incinerate stages remain at maximum) Last edited by fgdfshhs#4807 on Feb 26, 2022, 11:53:10 AM

" Hey there. Thanks again for your theory crafting as its definitely been a consideration in my own experimentation this season. While these are certainly viable suggestions, here are a few thoughts: I) Ashes of Stars may very well be BiS for the build, but because we just don't have too many slots to get resists, cast speed, etc. I have historically stuck with a rare to keep the QoL higher for the overall majority of people that play it. If you're a min/max veteran though its definitely something worth thinking on. Similarly w/ Divergent Incinerate, I can appreciate its really good, but its just way more expensive than your usual 21/20 Incinerate (which is super cheap at like 4-5c), and its really difficult to find one w/ 21/20 without paying a ton. So really its in the interest of keeping the build accessible & easier to construct, even if we can squeeze more power by doing what you say. II) Skin of Lords yes is a great piece, but again its usually gonna be more expensive than a typical 6L Sporeguard & harder to track down. Not to mention a big strength of this build is its clear speed w/ HoA and Sporeguard explosions working in tandem (compared to something like Claeysken's Incinerate build that is all about being a tank but with sub-par clear speed). Sporeguard also has more defensive layers than SoL. III) Frostblink might work in the way your saying, but this particular version of Incinerate benefits from releasing waves (i.e. hits) regularly. Flame dashing automatically releases the final wave, so this isn't really a bad thing. Most of our DPS comes from final wave release on single targets, and is the main DPS engine vs. groups as well because the spell hit is what generates HoA overkill ignite damage that spreads amongst the mobs. If we're just holding it down constantly yeah that's fine but our overkill is gonna be a lot less significant. I'm sure the Divergent Incinerate in combination with FB also has excellent coverage as you contend, but there is really quite a difference in playstyle and setup. IV) Your last build suggestion got me thinking about how we can use Thread of Hope to free up skill points to invest in aura efficiency. I'm still piecing it together but at L100 I managed to fit both Aspect of the Spider and Arctic Armor into the build while still hovering around 11M DPS, which is a pretty nice toughness boost. I'm yet to test it though as I don't have a L100 in league rn, but can try it in standard towards season end. Appreciate your efforts. GL2U |

Hi, thanks for your answer. Divergent Incinerate level 21 is indeed very hard to get (took me about 20 gems levelling and corrupting, before i got it).
I'll try out your build next league. I'm now playing Standard now with an optimized very defensive CI incinerate build. I got interested in your guide, because I was looking to increase the DPS a bit. Though the DPS is even for my build not that bad (5-8 mil.) now, I find this still to be a bit lacking, when fighting for example 'the crystal king' at say depth 500. I tried to get higher DPS with forbidden flesh/forbidden flame, but that didn't help that much, because it requires two sockets, so there is quite an oppurtunity cost there. |

Hello Mr. WarPig, it's me again ><
So, I have being struggling with my mana pool, is not something that rly change anything on my gameplay but sometimes I get out of mana, is this my playstyle that's wrong, or there's something on my build that I should change? I dont know how to create a PoB link so if you could be so kind and check my profile I would rly appreciate it. Cya! |

" Hello again. Glad you're still investing time into the build. FWICT you need -3 mana cost to channeling skills (prefix) on each of your rings (or one ring & amulet). It costs 4c to craft, and usually you can find a crafter here in the forums, etc. to do it for you if you don't have it yourself. Incinerate will basically essentially stop draining mana at that point, and you just need enough to support your CWDT procs & an occasional Flame Dash and/or Armageddon Brand. Hey there. Somebody recommended this build, so I'm giving it a go and quite enjoying it. Thank you for that first of all
My question concerns the gems. I see you've listed something along the lines of two different, 'sets' or swaps of gems: a mapping layout, and bosses. Am I expected to swap every time before encountering a boss? We're talking around 3 or 4 gem swaps here, so having to swap this many gems before a boss is not something I'd like to have to do In light of that, I then pose: what would it look like to keep only one layout? I think I shall let you reply before I say any more, because I'm having quite a difficult time working out these gems between the guide, and PoB lol Thanks! |

" I only recommend swapping gems when you decide to fight Sirus, Maven, etc. which is comparatively rare when measured against how much mapping you'll probably be doing. This means 95-99% of the time you'll be running Enfeeble & Cold Snap in CWDT setups and you do not need to swap them out for Map bosses. Even on fights vs. Endgame Bosses you don't need to swap to kill them (I often forget because I'm lazy as well), but it does help, especially if you're still a beginner. The only discrepancy between the Gem Link section & POB's is that in the POB I don't specifically designate where to put your 4L CWDT, etc. because any piece of gear will work essentially (helm, gloves, or boots). But if you want to be told exactly how to do it without any discrepancies follow the Gem Link guide. Appreciate you giving it a go & GL to you. LMK any suggestions you need along the way. |

Update -- I'm continuing to experiment w/ the build and think I've settled on a strong 'Final Form' version that I will continue to refine and add to the core guide later on. It doesn't add much DPS but does add a significant amount of crowd control, quality of life, & defense. It mostly revolves around using a Large Ring Thread of Hope to free up enough points that we can invest in Aura Efficiency & run 5-auras at once. Though you have to play rather defensively still past Wave 20, I've gotten to W29 a few times and feel w/ better play & some min/maxing I can get to 30 (not really sure though). It's basically another 10-15ex investment on top of the L97 POB (25-30ex) if you want to try it out yourself --
L99 POB: https://pastebin.com/mP10digb 5k Life 2.6k ES 2.8k Aegis 9.5M Incinerate DPS (Includes Cull, Not Extra 800k w/ Armageddon Brand) Thread of Hope (Large): 1-2ex Enlighten (L3): 2ex Stygian Vise w/ Aspect of Spider & Strength: 2-3ex 6-Link Martyr of Innocence: 4ex-5ex Unset Ring w/ Stats: .5-1ex Stay Safe. GLHF. Edit: Seems we can still push to 11M DPS if we get to L100 & invest about 30-40ex in the Malediction Forbidden Flesh/Flame Jewels. A big investment yes, but it's about 10-15% more damage and 10% less damage taken overall. Once I get the jewels I will do some more testing in Simulacrum to verify the impact.
