Don't use the zaf01.login.pathofexile.com:20481 for pinging as this is cached by cloud flare.


To see if you are connected to a Server in South afrca rather then frankfurt you need to look for a ip like :

Tried to log on a few times, but it seems the local instance is down, keeps directing me to Frankfurt at 150ms, which sucks.

The only one i got onto was the one with 300ping in the US.
Since then i only get onto Frankfurt

Still holding all my thumbs they actually try getting it to work.

i recently died to on gauntlet due to desync playing from south africa on an eu server in 3.15 gauntlet (somewhat of a lesser streamer)

im sorry but what does this mean.
simply what does a south african player have to do to play on this server?

Okay so either the 100 instances are getting used by other SA players or they are still working on generating the instances in capetown server.


They are not sharing a lot of info on this, so we kinda just need to log on every day and check or ping when we try to join but if it moves you to Frankfurt then it might be the two above issues we are not 100% sure cause I have not seen a single person post a IP or a screen shot with low ping that would indicate that they found a SouthAfrica instances
