I'd be happy to help out once things (hopefully) consolidate a bit.

What i mean instead of the post in the discord that fuel the drama. Get the hand dirty, try to use pypoe or use it in outdated 3.12 ggpk (last version that OmegaK2's pypoe was working), or try to get zao's software to extract raw game file .
Also, what i saw is iamacyborg is humble to ask question and seek answer from the wiki admins, as most of the template and module are written by them, and unless you are lurking in wiki with many edit, you know nothing about it as outsider (saying i am flooding the wiki with many edits and i still know 10% of the module and template how they work and how to fix the code) Leader should set clear task on what really need and sometimes capable to half-knowing the code first. Your team can del all the original wiki template and module and start from zero, but make sure at least you familiar with game file specification that in the table of the game file, which cell is for which value in-game. (or you can totally rely on poedb to build a scrapper) Either way you need to reverse engineering poedb, or game files This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. Also, not sure why Journeytojah accuse iamacyborg steal the lead (or even concept or accuse he will sell the site again, etc).
iamacyborg already asking tech question in official POE discord wiki channel since around 1 week ago so that it is totally logical that he has knowledge to fix a few stuff (and may be learn from https://pathofexile.miraheze.org that cargo table need to be fixed) All i want to say, action louder than words. Sounds really funny POE wiki top 5 ranks editors have know nothing and then was accused to be not helping.... This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. A "new" old wiki, gets my big thumbs up!
Can't stand the new one. But as many have already mentioned in the reddit post it wouldn't be out of line for GGG to help build an actual official wiki. |

Oh - Was unaware of the "drama" mentioned.
I'm just a DevOps consultant doing full stack software engineering on the side. I saw the git and was looking to get some side projects going. *shrug* I have not yet seen the structured affirmations that (in business operations) lend way to a successful, futureproof projects. A Platform CI/CD cycle is not the least of which would be necessary; and integration/engagement with others will be required to establish a solid information pipeline. Looking to contribute. |

Since pypoe forked by a lot of people and have contributed by others by pull request, it is not that hard to have people really look at the code or the file specification of POE's game file and make it work again.
