Can you adress the elephant in the room someday?

I turn on loot filters but then I only see like the exalted orb... I want to see "all" the decent loot... but not 1 and 1, how bout you stack everything that can be stacked up once it drops to the floor/ground/etc.

Would be much nicer for me as a hoarder.

Also if you can have some sort of sell all/move all/transfer all option. I have about 200 remove-only tabs in standard that needs to be emptied into other tabs or sold to the vendor..

Quality of life changes. Like auto-pickup would be nice, but I guess that is asking too much. However it worked on metamorph. Could work on currency only and could be toggled on or off.

Cheers
The DPS of my main skill Bane, went down 32%. And it wasn't that great to begin with. Bummer.
Read through everything and wanted to share my worthless opinion.

I've put "a couple" of hours into a char to make him a weapon of mass destruction (not the first time) and it's now complete garbage, not nerfed, but next to useless (also not the first time). All the work for nothing. This is not a nerf, this is pure lust on obliteration and sadism in it's purest form. It's a goddmn single player game, who the f cares, there are op chars???

So I dont get why power creep is so bad- most of the players dont seem to get to the "endgame" currently anyway. And honestly, most players who are propably do will delete any mob regardless of your brainless changes- and the new meta which will then be nerfed into the ground a couple of month later anyway. BeCauSe thE gAmE iS noT HaRd EnOugH. If it's fun and people play it, who the f... cares if it's hard??? This is mostly an autsim theorycraft simulator with an attached slotmachine. As long as players can improve their totally op char more, everything is fine. But sure, you will have 300k new players because now all the cool builds got unusable and you get forced into new meatas and then - see above.

The game has some many issues which you still dont care to address, like 38535 loot drops from one weak mob (that clutter from blight maps... OMG) of which 100% is complete garbage 100% of the time, one shots in gfx clutter, rng on rng on rng on rng on rng..., a trade system which makes me want to delete the internet and so one

On the other hand I'm glad that I dont have to play this glorified slotmachine anymore. Last league I've really just put ever spare minute into this game and I'm sure that wont happen again

TL;DR: I really like that game but what I dont like are game developers who want to dictate "what is fun".

Best, a lowly player

Problem: Players are having fun in Path of Exile.
Solution: Remove fun.

This patch notes got me so excited that I went and bought Last Epoch.

There are so many things wrong with the patch notes that I don't even want to go into it.

Same here :D

There are even more awesome nerfs ahead of you.
✨ Beta tester Path of Nerf 👀
Was the decision on how to proceed with nerfs this patch based on streamer-lyfe speed clears, or how the powers that be want to alter the game in preparation/testing of PoE2 mechanics?

See, if this was based on how "easy" it is for people who play PoE for a living, GGG has an opportunity to make them happy and keep the casual playerbase engaged.

Create a batch of "SL" leagues in addition to Standard, SSF-Standard, HardCore, and SSF-HC. StreamerLife, SSF-SL, StreamerLife-HardCore, SSF-SL-HC. Amp up the difficulty, crush their will to play the game, and throw nerf after nerf at them mid-league without affecting the rest of us who just want to play the fething game and have fun as a casual source of entertainment.

I'm mostly joking here, but my point stands - those who literally play this game for a living, spending more time on it than I spend both working in my career *and* playing PoE, push your game get a lot further than those of us who just play the thing to have fun and see how far we can get, hopefully clearing the new league mechanic. This game is pretty much a function of time investment - the more time you put in, the better at the game you get (naturally), but also the better gear your end up getting and the more optimized your character becomes. This leads to faster clearing, which in turn gets you more loot drops (chances for better gear)... it's a cycle. Since the game doesn't really get harder after a certain point, the only thing that changes is your clear speed going up.

So implement a model of not diminishing returns but rather increasing difficulty for those at the extreme top-end. Add the resistances and HP and damage output to their T15/T16/Endgame maps and league bosses based on how many times they've completed them. After 10 or so clears of a league boss, the counter starts. After so many deaths or so many days of no interaction with it, the challenge-meter starts to drop.

Meanwhile, leave the rest of us to play the entertaining diversion we call a game. As it stands, I have no intention of punching myself in the dicc this league. I think this will be the first one I haven't bought into in quite a while.

Casual gamer here who has spent quite a bit of money on this game from 3.0 to about 3.12, and then took a break because it became apparent I couldn’t improve or advance without deciding to devote an astronomical increase in time and effort to the game to learn advanced crafting and how to arbitrage trading to where exalts and even mirrors were menial and easy to acquire and utilize.

I’ve never owned or come close to trading a mirror-tier item, but it became clear that my next step in my evolution of this game, to keep up with the constant “balance changes” being implemented every league to stave off the power-creep, was to acquire gear/items/gems that only the best of the best could afford or had the knowledge, time, experience, and currency to create.

But I’m a family man with a job and real life shit to do, so I’m stuck in the Casual Gamer category and just don’t have the capacity to take that next step in this game.

Well, I was about to come back and try another league and at least hang out with friends again because I was really missing this place. But now, after going through the patch notes… fuck that noise. Holy hell, what is GGG thinking?

The uber top tier folks will probably still be fine and able to reach any boss and kill them without much difficulty, but the “casual gamer” is beyond screwed. Really good items and legacy items are going to skyrocket in cost, and not only will us relatively poor schleps be running around in worse gear, but our damage is reduced by as much as half, our survivability looks like it’s drastically worse (as if we needed more one-shotting), and mobs now have more survivability.

No freaking way am I coming back to play this when it was already trending towards mediocre for the casual gamer.

You blew it, GGG. Hopefully you figure out a better way down the road. But this was not smart.
