I really like the changes and the direction the game is going with reducing the zoom-zoom. The only thing that worries me is while the changes might slow down the gameplay, there's still a lot of incentive to go fast with some league mechanics such as Delirium and Incursion.

That is exactly the problem... They have created so many mechanics that basically require fast clear. That is in direct conflict with this so called "vision".
look forward to this Happy for the nerfs
This will be an interesting League.
Imo, the changes looks horrible, but for me, I am an old school ARPGer. I will definitely play in standard.

Can't say I'm a fan of the way PoE is trending. Seems to be a reaction to the 1% (streamers) who will find ways to clear all content easily anyway, since their livelihood depends on it.

For this 'casual' player who has been around since closed Beta, none of these changes excite me. The real fun in PoE is endgame content I have not seen before, not trudging slower through the Acts and beating white maps for the millionth time, or clicking endlessly on yet another Innocence-forsaken pile of some new fragment. (Azurite style pickup for shards when??)

Going to take a break this league and see how things shake out.

Yes, exactly! Masterfully worded!

good bye GGG
Timed my summer vacation for the league start, but now it looks like I won't be starting anything. Almost seems like GGG wants the bulk of the players to hit a wall in yellow maps.
Is this a poorly timed april fool's joke?
what are they smoking man?
