Damage over Time Multiplier Prefix modifiers on Weapons are now Suffix modifiers, and can no longer roll as Prefixes. This includes Veiled and Crafted modifiers.


Does this also include the influenced mods on attack oriented weapons?

e.g. Elder Bow "Damage over Time Multiplier for bleeding/poison with hits from this weapon"

Or are we just talking about the base caster-weapon type dot multi?
This will certainly be an interesting season.

I'm not exactly psyched by a majority of these changes, as some of them seem completely unnecessary.
Having said that, worse yet, the league mechanic itself is relatively uninspired. I'm sure plenty of folks liked what they saw, but right now, there are far more entertaining games to play.

I'll probably skip this league, but I'm eager to see what data players can offer (GGG) during this cycle. If anything, player numbers will take a hit, and that could very well influence their decision-making moving forward.

I don't post very often. I have been playing since beta, I went to exile con and the dinner at jonathan's and I got a taste of your plans there, there's no doubt I'm a big fan of this game, and have spent a lot of time and money on it. I can say definitively, your game was more fun the last two leagues than any league before. Yeah, it was harder in beta. But it was less fun too. I don't think this is a good direction, at all. And those awakened gem changes are a complete joke, they take forever to level, and are difficult drops from a boss fight a lot of people don't bother doing for 0-5% increases after hours of grinding them up, it's just incredulous.

I know you like the harder difficulties Chris, and that you miss the feel of the older games, but I really don't think this is the answer.
It was painful but I was ok.. like thinking we just need to live through but then I realised that spellslinger builds are now literally not usable and I cant imagine why... Since u raised it's reservation few leagues ago and now raised all gems multiplier without a compensation to it now we just can't get enough reduction for reservation along with dealing with the cost of the supported skill. And it feels like u now paying double mana price since the mana cost of spellslinger previously was like reserved and now it's reserved in even higher percewntages u can't afford for 6linked setup and after that u still need to pay mana price for each trigger. And that's for me sounds like bad design and nothing more. Even archmage builds more playable in 3.15.
So now awakened skill gems have lost any sorts of flavor they were created with. [Removed by Support]

Those guys with a camera, like Mathil "fuck casuals, they don't count" and the other "elite peaches" like him, will find out they have no more PoE streaming job, cause no one will watch a nerd playing a game they have come to hate.
Now we are back to 40% necro in ladder.
