So the community director pretty much moved away from the community, well ok.
More info in Cris post, last paragraph. I did not know the teasers were "often" done on her spare time, dedication 100 and kudos. It doesn't matter for me what decisions were made in the company regarding Bex's shift, the most important thing is that everyone's mental health is taken care of especially in those shitty times we're living in. But for real, why getting so worked over a teaser, it's just a teaser it could've been 5 seconds long lol. The only issue I see is that it was published two weeks before league announcement instead of one, now people are only frustrated to wait for two weeks after this tidbit. yeah, thanks to reddit they pretty much stopped posting or use that shared account.
cant blame them though, this has been happening with almost every game that gets popular enough. cant wait for D4 taking away the worst idiots :P d:-D*

Start
1. Community sees posts containing spoilers of what is to come or answers to unanswered questions. This goes on continously for years and years. 2. Decisions are made that makes things different than claimed in a couple of instances of point 1 3. Community has a huge uprising and outrage about 2 and directs that anger towards the source of point 1 4. Source of point 1 decides it isn't worth spending time and effort on point 1 anymore or their supervisors advice against it. 5. Current situation. Why are we surprised? End |

the issue with #3 is they court that kind of reaction by acting like it isn't just their game their rules (you never state it like this but just make changes and explain clearly then say nothing else), also they have control over a forum its right here yet they choose to do 90% of their interaction on reddit where people get epeen points for shitposting.
basically to some degree they are responsible for the community they have cultivated, some of them make PoB or all our filters to compensate for the fact they won't, some of them go literally apeshit when they find out the most busted builds in the game got reduced by 10% but are still the most busted. There are still people that think minions are ruined, they post it every single league without fail. |

Well, there's no empty messages either. I remember a teaser link that just led to a page with info on supporter packs instead of league info - glad to not have that :).
Information might come her way as things progress in the by now perhaps even cultural pre-launch tempest. Perhaps poke the back office and tell them to give Bex her stuff (guessing). Did you try turning it off and on again?

My guess is the whole team, and mostly those interacting one way or the other with community, got emotionally exhausted.
Hence the reforms involving infamous community team - in an attempt to rid part of the staff of this emotional burden. Saying this, Bex suffered the most - as she was involved the most. Taking into account the toxic relations between ggg and their player base because reasons, I personally admire a decision which could put Bex away from this bloody mess. She's a nice person, and definitely doesn't deserve the shitfest that are relations between the company and its players. With the tendency to escalate further. Her family deeds and responsibilities aside. This is a buff © 2016

I miss Bex much as well. Probably the latest toxity made her disguise in anonymity. She hasn't posted on her twitter for like 2 months as well. Hope she's well!
