If you are struggling for mana, you probably want to have mana leech on your ring/amulet instead of -mana cost.

Hi! I'm currently running this for my second build this league - tried it as a league starter in Scourge but gave up on it. Starting with currency made it feel much better. POB: https://pastebin.com/g8FL1W5v

Now, my league starter was very tanky, and I hate dying, so my biggest change has been to run Determination as my 50% aura instead of Pride.

Instead I'm using Pride with this setup:

For about 1k life I can have Pride up for 11 seconds at a time. The life loss is leeched back super fast in combat, but to make sure it has constant uptime I also got overleech from the Slayer ascendancy:

The two jewels were 2ex each - having 8% class play rate helps keep prices low I guess.

I'm also really liking the eldritch implicits, you can get +2% all max res with just lesser currency, and even more spell block on body armour.


I think aside from more block chance, I'm just about done with survivability. Now leveling up my enlighten to add in Herald of Purity and more levels for another damage cluster.

Soul Taker is terrible for this build. Jack axe is Bis until you can afford to craft something stronger. There are a lot of ways to get mana leech - rings/gloves/jewels/cluster jewels/skill tree. Using Soul Taker is huge dps loss.


Also I agree, that eldrich implicits are crazy, hope that they will not get nerfed next season. I have 25% spell block just from body armour

Simulacrum 30 finished. This is definitely the strongest version of the build that I ever made. Final version is not exactly budget friendly but can do all content in the game, while starter version is super cheap which is great for progression.

If you mean arena challenger then I have never played max block build with it so, cant compare but speed is good enough without it, aoe is more of an issue for better clear. And yes, most gear is selfcrafted and farmed with this char.

About PoB I don´t mind, just wanted to show minmaxed version of the build.

I was referring to not using Sand Stance since I don't believe I saw Flesh & Stone or Blood & Sand in the PoB. I guess you already mentioned the lack of AoE so my question is answered.

I think if your weapon had a little more attack speed, then Arena Challenger won't be that important.

I am actually using flesh and stone but mostly run it in blood stance, I am pretty lazy to switch between stances.

There is no new crafting method introduced for weapons so the guide is still relevant. Weapon crafting takes a lot of currency so I only recommend it if most of your gear is in good shape.

Looking at your character, I think you can start thinking about crafting one. There is also the expensive method which is

1. Alteration Orb spam for T1 Increased Physical
2. Prefix cannot be changed
3. Imprint
4. Harvest reforge physical

Each try is 1 imprint so it's not that cheap. Once you have a good set of prefixes you can fix the suffixes. For this league, I didn't even craft an axe, just use Jack, the Axe to do all the contents.
