Surprised? If you want to defeat Maven / The Feared / Deep Delve / etc (especially with mods) you MUST GRIND A LOT and spend a lot of time on it. This is the core part of the game. It is not fucking Sims or whatever. You have to INVEST YOUR TIME if you want to progress. IT'S FUNDAMENTAL aspect of PoE. Path of Grind from the Grinding Gear Games. " Basically you ask GGG to make the game even easier so ppl will quit the game earlier, not after 10 days but probably after 5 days? I can't believe you're serious. More like you're just trolling. " I don't have tool to sort players by their challenges on HCSSF so it will take a lot of my time. " Dude, calm down. I got your point but it is completely different topic. People basically want to make the game easier because they don't want to spend their time on the game and just want to quit. That's the whole point of the whine here. You're talking about HC SSF rewards or probably HC in general. I am not playing SC anyway because from my point of view it's "demo" or "tutorial" mode for the ppl with some health issues. But if you make the game even easier than it is right now the majority of players (SC) will leave it. And semi-dead HC will be dead in 2 weeks instead of 3-4 weeks after start. I don't like it. " That may be true for some, but I think for most people the grind just gets in the way of doing what they enjoy. The process of running A1 to A10, setting up the atlas and gearing your character is starting to unbalance the investment:reward to a point where the game isn't fun for a lot of people. |

" Nope i have other point of view. When they make game izier to understand, make basic craft and make QoL (flask piano) more players income. Y know : why are recipes for basic craft (for craft bench) hides somewhere in Delve deeps - maps and more. Why omfg? Its again force players do something what they dont like. For example : Flash and Stone skill : izi to understand, izi to use (for casual HC players best thing) We all know what GG do with it. But as i say before : they do nothing with death from DC/lag or offscreen kill. Tons of flash effects where u cant see anything something kill you and we still dont have log to know what happend ... Maybe just delete RNG factor in this game? What is hard on this game, when they balance it from SC stats? And SC will have still skills/mechanics what get IK to boss. They nerf Necro and minions, bcs its last relatively izi (safe) way to make normal and good start in league. But they never touch HH, Archmage, Templar who alltime brake game mechanics and u can get IK to bosses or make crazy builds + GGG just create new every league (like this Vaals + gloves and dont know what more) When this game will be more balanced/izi/no rng/say what you want, that will be just more skills to try, more fun for HC players, more players who just try it. Now we have meta builds, bcs you must play this to succes ofc. Go and play Path of Exile intro = what they say! "Create your unique builds with tree of passives" - HAHAHA ... who do that today? Everyone just say : go on poe ninja. copy build and do what he say. You need currency? Go here download this MACROS from 3rd sides, use this site for trade, dont forget on DC macro + flasks macro bla bla bla. This game is more PoTrade or rly PoMTX. everyone is forced to play 3-4 specific builds to be 100% sure that can complete all endgame. also in SSf either SC or HC you cant do much things because you need specific items and the game dont want you to have them. Also, nerfing every build most players use it's not the right decision or balancing the game when there are many other items that are broken like HH ,hatefotrge gloves etc. All those things destroy game. on top of that, trade bots,3rd party programms for farm or trade even offline and the ability to buy currency make the game almost unplayable and not funny for most players. if all these things fixed then the game will be great

Just decided to quit 3.14.
I really enjoy this game, but if 3.15 doesn't bring a few targeted improvements to the game as a whole, I may be done for the foreseeable future. Here are some random thoughts targeted at the game Devs... 1) Make up your minds about player agency. Adding atlas passives in a push to allow players to do more of the content they choose to do...then nerfing them the very next league to further polarize player choices Removing things like corrupted essences and higher tier prophecies from content like Heist...and then adding more uniques to the general drop pool (only to water down their effective drop rates) Giving players a whole new crafting experience with Harvest and then nerfing it so it is redundant with or worse than most other crafting options Don't even get me started on narrowing player skill / build choices with nerfs at the same time you try to push new skills/reworks... 2) End the "it's all nerfs", "no fun allowed", nerfs disguised as "reworks" mentality Games like PoE are constantly evolving and targeted rebalancing is required to keep the game fresh and challenging. That said, if players find more reasons to want to play and support your game, you would have to be crazy to nerf them so hard that people have to find other reasons to keep playing or flat out quit. The pre-league launch manifestos that do nothing but demonstrate how out of touch GGG can be with the player base are getting old. Half the time you literally admit "we know players want x, but we decided to do y". 3) Loot => We all love it, and we all want lots of it, but the sheer number of drops, clicks, and fragments/shards in end game content is getting ridiculous. You cannot implement "smart loot" and some basic form of currency stacking and/or grouped pickup soon enough. 4) Performance => It is no secret that half the difficulty in this game stems from framerate drops from screen clutter and large numbers of monsters on the screen at once. If I were you, this would be my biggest priority after the loot overhaul. | |
the saddest part of all of this... GGG is completely deaf to any of the complaints and will just do what they are going to do as they do not care about a majority of the players. GGG also does not expect a new player to even progress out of white maps. GGG cares about the high spenders/lifers and nolife streamers.
poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead

Why not make the 3.15 update where you focus on fixing the servers so I don't lag every 2 seconds. I don't need a new league mechanic that makes the game more laggy. Thanks

Dont forget rubber banding. And End game this season was trash. Last league i could play till the end. Now i lost all fun somewhere after 3 weeks...

I think, all is worse.
In really, the main problem of current POE - the mentality of founders is changed. The initial idea was: "From gamers to gamers"? It's was time when POE got a most loyal audience. But for now: We sacrifice the fan of gamers to maximize the our revenue. TOP-manager(s) are build all their awkward activity around one idea: "How to slower the progress of gameplay", Because they have a hypotheses that, if we stay longer - that we probably can buy more MTX. Suddenly understand this - and it disguising for me. It means, we cant get in nearest future: 1. Trading platform (no need telling my about mythical resellers pls. Regulated economics, socialism, are exist only in N.Korea. Open markets - are winners anywhere. And in ALL other online-games.) 2. Understandable craft. No need to tell me about: "We, all players of POE, want to game make me hurt in every aspect of game". Not ALL of us, but only there 3 ppl, or 4. Mostly of us love comfort, Mercedes, quick computer, big monitor. All successful products in this world are going to be simplify. All tends to be: "push ONE button to make me happy". Uber, Tinder, Google, microwave oven... How much button you are pressed to get the result there? And how much others products you know, where exist a lot of buttons? None ) Why? They die ) Because won competitors, who have more casual approach. Just because markets (mostly of people) do not want a "not simple solution". Simplify - it's good. Why I cant craft in simplified "one button style"? But not in our case of POE in nearest future. Or, until this CEO rules here (. But I hope... Ok. What are need for me to be happy in POE: 1. Normal Trading platform. 2. Understandable, predictive, casual craft. 3. No Flasks piano. Make redesign. 4. Do not to do 100500 click for items on floor. Group this. PS I spend up to $200 in POE. But cant plan to spend more, till they do a convivence for me. PPS The hope on current TOP-manager(s) is very small. Therefore bought "The New World". Beta start at 20 July. It was my first big game which i bought in the last 2 years, until start play in POE. That $ 50 should have been yours. But, as you can see, no.
