" Well times were tough for everyone this past year and prices increase everywhere and for almost everything so it makes sense GGG would jump on that train as well. Also if I remember correctly tencent takes 80% of all income GGG makes through their games probably another reason for price increase. Not saying I agree with the prices they set for their MTX, PoE has some of the most ridiculously overpriced stuff out of any game I've seen, but there is usually a plausible reason behind it. They don't do it out of pure ignorance and selfishness... or so I hope. bottomtext

no way.. this HAS to be a joke...
What a LOW EFFORT mtx .. you just copy/pasted the weapon MTX and put it as BACKGROUND for your character body and called it a day... Unlike so many other character effect that SURROUND and sometime even interact (apply a shade) with your body armor (ie: celestial) this is just weak. here are a few example of "real"/worthwhile character effects  no effect celestial apply a texture shade and surround the whole armor  innocence also suround the whole body like innocence's : purple character effect also suround the whole body and have it's effect also ipear on the foreground/in front of the armor.Sure it take more time to create a character effect that isn't just a background gif (volume effect?). but for the price of thoses MTX ? Come on, we expect work and quality from thoses expensives pixel ... eddit: oh yea and they also affect the cape (example with celestial: )  no effect the shade bring it all together.I can't imagine how bad celestial would have been if it was just a background thing Last edited by Hurlogar on May 19, 2021, 12:49:51 PM

The only complaint about MTX I could sympathize with is something like, "I really like this, but I can't afford it."
Any other complaint makes no sense. Nobody is forcing anybody to pay for anything. If you don't like it, or don't want to buy it, then just move on and let those who do want it pick it up. GGG obviously knows what sells and what doesn't. They have access to all kinds of metrics that we don't. No doubt some offers don't work out. But it's completely reasonable for them to keep providing options, and to keep offering them at prices that their statistics show works for their business. I also really appreciate the increasingly large choice that they're making available to us. |

" It's not the weapon effects they simply added the combine of both character effects after the release of the Mystery box and after they went to the store. Which was a bad idea IMO. GGG broke the line with this and now people have the right to ask for combines on all the other boxes which didn't have one. Esp people with extras sitting in their cosmetics. Your pics look better without your character effects IMO. Backdrop character effects don't drown out armor or tint them and look far more tasteful, allowing detail to show. Only ones I own.
