[3.15] Strength Stacking Slammer. Blast through the game from start to finish.

Hey guys, for the ones struggling with attack speed i worked around the build and find a solution that seems promising (it can even replace or counter the quicksilver's flask rework, not improving the flask itself, but you'll see).

So, the basics stay the same as the build says, we're playing low life strength stacker and that should be. But the issue is that earthshatter skill have a reaaally low animation, and the counter effects of our support gems make it 25% slower, wich just feels like crap.

What i did to counter that was keeping the attk speed/leach life nodes + some endurance charges nodes with the one that gives you percentage of life when you have them (that way i still get some heal when im not leeching, specially for bosses when i'm quitting them with low hp). Then, i got some cluster jewells with "Martial Mastery" node, that will gives, because we're stacking strength with a 2 handed weapon, 20% extra attack speed and we keep getting dmg boost from the small passives that the jewell gives. After that, i got a medium jewell with lead by example and cry wolf, lead by example gives us onslaught (20% more attk speed, movement speed and cast speed -applies for warcries i guess-) every time we warcry. Cry wolf is a good dmg boost and it also makes warcries to give 10 power even if there's no enemy nears, it stablishs it as the minimum you can get when you warcry, that means that we get onslaught and get rage stacks when we warcry even without monsters near, wich is a really really good buff for movement speed. Also the small passives give really good damage too (20% more dmg with exerted attacks each small passive). There we already counter the counter effect of our support gems.

And now the most important part is rage. For this to work quick as possible we HAVE to take the warbringer node, because since we're warcryng for exerted attacks all the time, we're stacking rage like crazy and at the same time we proc onslaught. That means all the buffs will stack and give us insane attack speed (not really insane but really really good for a quick mapping). After that, since for me taking Defy pain was suicidal, i plan to go for Rite of ruin, wich triplicates the effects of rage (rage gives 1% damage, o,5 speed and somewhat near 0,2 movement speed per rage charge, and we're stacking around 40 most of the time, it varies because using a warcry over 25 rage 'll consume 10 rage but give a huge boost to your exerted attacks).

And the final part is why this works around the quicksilver flask nerf. The reason is because im using leap slam with the Combat Control node, wich is essencially a movement skill but at the same time it's an attack speed, wich means it gets the benefits from the attack speed stacking strategy i said before and you're just flying around the map with it. Since it's an attack skill i linked a faster attacks support gem to it too because i'm not using berserker (to avoid losing the rage stack).
That's pretty much it, i'm at low tier red maps and it's working great, now i'll start focusing on increasing the damage and gear for higher tier maps (work pretty good on t12 maps, but a little more dmg wouldn't hurt anyone. Also, i want to point that it'll not give you insane amount of attack speed (cause yup, slams), but good enough to have a quick mapping and bossing. I havnt got the node that triplicates the effects of rage stacking and also im planning on changing my large cluster jewell for one with a node that gives martial mastery + martial prowess or something, wich means more attack speed and dmg at the same time.

I was following the step by step part of the guide and i was reading about taking impale passives, but then when i saw the passive tree for 3.15 update and there is no impale passives taken (on the leveling ones there is). Since sesmic nerf we use enduring for healing+ endurance charges and it also explode earthsahtter spikes

I don't really know the answer, but pillar of god is imo the fundamental on this build because it gives 16% incremented physical damage per 10 strength, pretty much why we stack strength plus the life it gives for the bloodthirst gem (i guess).
I will start with pillar then test miror tier 900 pds axe to see

Ok as far as impale

Dex ( the op ) doesnt take iimpale on tree beacuse of his watchers eye and the impale gem change so


60 % from impale support gem
20 % from dread banner
25 % from watchers eye

For a 105% total

I will take one impale cluster on tree and use watchers eye with “ impales last 2 more hits “ cause is a TON more dmg

I play earthshatter champion , is my first time with berserker because of fortify nerf :-(

I am in the last chapter and feel incredibly weak. I am dying to anything worth a damn, I got a tabula and it didn’t make a damn bit of difference. What can I do to improve???? I don’t get it, I am using ground slam linked with Fortify, ruthless, fist of war, melee physical and brutality. I have an axe that is 720+ dps and have the first ascendancy. Will it start to feel better if I get the other ones?? I feel my attack speed is way to slow, my damage is way to low, and everything else.
Your axe is far from 720dps - 400 at most.
And you massively lack increased damage. You'd be far better off with a pillar of the caged god as in the build description.

I meant combined DPS sorry - I gotcha as well, when I put on pillar of the caged god it says my DPS Lowers from the Vaal axe though

Dmg is more then enough but survability isnt quite good.

Do you have any source of Fortify that I'm not seeing? If not, I would swap out Melee Phys Dmg for Fortify for more survivability.

Also, keep levelling up and head over to get Discipline and Training and the nodes around there. You have about 5.6k life which is pretty low when you reserve half of it, even with Petrified Blood reducing the damage.
