Stress-Free PoE! RIGHTEOUS GOLEMS (RF): No Required Items! 1-Button Play! SSF League Start-End! 3.14
I am enjoying this build on Standard. I have pretty good gear, but my damage is still a bit too low to do some of the bosses.
imabeotch Any chance you could look at my character and give me any ideas that you might have? One idea that I had was changing my scepter out for a Stabilising Scepter, but I haven't had any luck hitting +% fire damage over time, yet. This would give me 4 extra points to move around on my tree. Might try to add in Red Dream or Red Nightmare if I can find an empty jewel spot. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks for the fun build. |

"Hey fluffyrizzo! I'm glad you're enjoying the build. Great job on hitting 95! Your gear is quite nice for sure. It can be min/maxed even further of course (cause that's PoE) but I honestly will never have gear as good as that. You've done amazing with it. I think your best bet would be to add a Fire DoT skill to RF as the 6th socket. Your gear is great but RF's value, like the other DOT skills, comes in its "duration" dealing damage no matter what your actions are. So in terms of DPS, DOT skills can be misleading. Sure the DPS is lower than other skills but DOT skills don't stop dealing damage. So there's a make-up of DPS cause the damage is more constant. Now, that being said, because you still find the damage a little low for yourself...your gear is hard to find/craft as is. I'd add something like Scorching Ray or Flame Wall or something that has a Fire DOT without hitting. Even Searing Bond if you can handle the mana ;). But those will add TONS of damage by having "2 5-links" instead of one 6-link. Just make sure the skill you add fits well with your playstyle. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Hi, old school gamer with serious wrist problems here. Really wanted to thank you for putting this guide out there as it's made it possible for me to play this game again. While I haven't really optimized my build, like at all, I've been able to breeze through maps. Mostly just T1-T9 haven't gotten enough waystones to really start getting to the meat and potatoes yet. Either way this is the farthest I've ever been able to progress through the endgame to date as most of the skill intensive builds cause me to have to put down the game after only an hr or so at most.
I noticed that your setup was removed so I've gotten kinda lost as to where to go to really grow the build into a more endgame ready character. If you have any suggestions I'd be happy to see them. But if not, no worries, the guide was more than enough to get me to this point and it's been a godsend for an old man such as myself. So thanks so very much for giving me PoE back :) |

"Oh awesome Otaku108! I'm so glad you've found a build that's not only worked for you, but has helped you progress and enjoy new content. Thanks for taking the time to be so kind and encouraging. I really appreciate it. I hope your wrist issues aren't permanent. But even if they are, be encouraged :). The people we come across in life will have edifying seeds planted in their hearts as we go through life with a good attitude, despite our struggles. I've been very surprised as time goes on, how much my ailments have benefited those around me in my life. (I'm sure that's not new news to you of course. But just in case ;).) I'm sorry I haven't put back my gear onto my Elementalist. I've been playing with some RF ideas with the Chieftain and haven't finished that up yet. I'm using all the same gear as I had on the Elementalist though. So I'll post the link to that character here. The gem setup will be different though. https://www.pathofexile.com/account/xbox/view-profile/Wrecker+of+Days/characters?characterName=FireRegen Thanks again for your kind words. Hopefully, this helps you out some more. Feel free to ask whatever you like. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Hey Wrecker!
As I mentioned on stream I am stuck at level 89 and I keep dying in red maps. My damage is pretty low I feel and I get at times oneshot. If you could look at the character and give any hints I would love that! https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Sverd/characters/Yesica Keep up your good work and love your builds :) Last edited by sverd#0408 on Jun 9, 2021, 8:05:30 AM

"Awesome. Thanks for posting here sverd! Sorry I couldn't help you during the broadcast. PoE is too tricky to really be helpful without being able to look over the details. So, let's do survivability first. Everything looks great. Sure some gear could have better life rolls on it, but SSF is SSF and you're already looking for those items. This build is more of a movement build than a tank. So the key is to keep yourself in positions or circumstances that you have an escape from. So there may be some situations that the game gives you that you just can't escape via flask. But it's more of a movement build so sometimes, and you likely already do, you need to stop spinning and just sprint somewhere safe. That all being said, if you didn't change anything but your offence, I think you'd see a huge increase in your survivability. (And hopefully, that'll help you get the rest of your life nodes.) So, with the offence, your gear looks great! You've done really well for SSF! And an AR/ES uncorrupted 6-link chest! Goodness! The first thing I'd change is your weapon. Having a weapon that increases fire damage, dot damage, and/or has a dot multiplier on it is amazing for a build like this. And it's the "only" item you'll get that helps damage to that extent. I LOVE the weapon you're using. I used to use it all the time! But if you're unhappy with damage, it's the first thing that has to go. Secondly, if that's not enough of a boost, you can replace Inc. AoE Support with Inspiration Support. It does mean you'd also have to replace Life Gain on Hit with Inspiration as well, but it's a HUGE damage boost too. Those would be the simplest changes I'd make that wouldn't require any "surgery". (on a side note, just in case, we don't do much damage with Ignite with this build, it's 99% Burning damage and DOT damage, not ignite. Just in case your northernmost jewel was for more than just the max life.) Awesome job on your build! https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Hi, thank you for your build.
When I fires the ball lightning, the enemy received 'resist elemental damage' instead of 'vulnerable to fire' I noticed that my ball lightning has 3to7 cold dmg and 30to93 fire dmg. Is this the reason why EE is being disrupted? I cant seems to remove these elemental dmg from my ball lightning. I also observed that the enemy that met my cyclone has vulnerable to cold and lightning instead. The build is fun. the RF is sustaining. Nice! Last edited by Hienchou#0249 on Jun 15, 2021, 7:23:43 PM

"Hey Hienchou! I'm glad you're enjoying the build! Thanks for passing it on :). In regards to enemies being resistant to Fire Damage, adding any fire damage to anything that hits will negatively impact righteous fire. Because ball lightning is a spell that hits, adding any fire damage to ball lightning will give you the negative effects of elemental equilibrium, not the positive. Any mod that adds fire damage to spells will add fire damage to Ball Lightning. So somewhere in your gear you have a modifier that adds fire damage to spells. It could even be a jewel. Hopefully that helps! https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast Last edited by Wrecker_of_Days#7691 on Jun 17, 2021, 1:37:23 PM

Have been reading this build and coming up with possibly bad ideas. What happens if you do invest in minion damage, take liege of the primordial, but don't take elemancer? And then use infernal legion + the minion instability passive? You'd be limited to 3 golems, not 4, but I think they'd do damage with their infernal aura while melting down themselves, explode all over everything, spend 4 seconds reattaching their own legs, and then doing it all again. Forever.
Regularly losing the buffs for 4 seconds probably hurts, as would the buffs being smaller. But that'd be partly balanced by getting to take an extra ascendancy passive instead. |

"Awesome sanaba_s! I played with that setup for AGES (and each league) before posting this guide. I really wanted it to work out, but the damage, sustainability, and mitigation just weren't there. Not saying it can't be there. I just couldn't figure it out on the tree. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast
