Life gained on hit/leech is nice but won't help much when you have no mitigation or against bosses/strong enemies, which is the actual problem most of the time.
He has 46% and 27% block, that't not "massive".

I still can't see how this build is "blasting really strong" without dying a lot.

I'm recording some clips now, will have videos in 1-2 days. I'm amazed how crazy strong it is with this current setup. I am very literally phasing Sirus with 1 click right now. Killed Baran & Al Hezmin with 1 cast only as well.

I'm having survivability issues too, my damage is really good, but it's frustrating having certain enemies that can run me down or one tap me from off the screen. I'm at 88 and comfortably doing t16 maps, but just dying more often than I would like.

You are connected next to 12 available life nodes. If you die, make use of them.

Yeah, the build has no real defenses.
In order to put out the a strong amount of damage you basically just have health, there isn't much in the way of block, evade or armour.

I've tooled around with it in several incarnations and dropped a very large amount of exalt on the build trying to make it work since I enjoy Reap as an ability.
But I think I am at the point where I am ready to call this build done.

As a league started it's been sufficient
I killed Sirus, Elder and Shaper, both of the new bosses.
But Maven proved too difficult

rebuilding for more damage and spending the currency to get aul's bottled faith, a cane of kulemak and several other expensive items, to still be getting one tapped by random mobs in t16 70 quant maps.
and thats running at 7k life as well.

Unfortunately my SSD was full and I didn't notice it when I was recording, so I have to take new videos today. LOL.
I'll update the build once I've done so.
Also I'm wearing mostly a bossing setup right now.

I have great survivability, damage is damn good enough (got a sick Kulemak for 5ex)

Look at my gear - it isn't great at all some stuff is literally garbage tier

Look at my tree - i have just taken defense nodes before damage nodes... step 1 of almost all PoE builds?


The only deaths i get are weird stunlock things and cant blink out from 0 mana - i blame myself.

And big big BIG hits - that again, my fault - should have dodged that.


Although i haven't gotten to Shaper etc, i have done t15 deliriums and they were cruisy as apart from my PC literally eating frames

I did 4 Mavens to test the build for this fight and they were all deathless while being extremely easy with this build. All phases were 2 seconds, including the last one plus if you use Blood of the Karui, you can tank the final Maven beams as well.

6.3M DPS Base damage
x 5 Seals = 30M damage
x 5 Cascades = 150M damage

The blades do not always hit a single target though, so it's more around 50M DPS which is still enough to one shot most bosses in game.

Also Hydrosphere is used to charge to max blades before the fight begins as hitting Hydrosphere counts as not killing a target.

Quite different from the previous league and can still do all the Mavens etc. with the mapping build, just not one-shot.

The text guide itself isn't accurate right now, the most recent PoBs I posted are. I will try to update the main post soon with new info as well.
