[Outdated] Lancing Steel Raider | SoftCore | Not league starter viable anymore
Yo so basically just reached 11mil impale dps/6 mil total dps, thinking about next upgrade and thinking about rings now. But i am also curious is there any point to put any aspect to this build? Like aspect of cat or something

Heya! If you're going for the LGOH version, it's possible to get an aspect in a crafted gripped gloves if you get a +1 frenzy + intimidate gripped gloves. If you do decide to do that, you could go for aspect of cat with farrul's fur for extra attack speed and crit chance(but it would have you drop the crafted body armour). But if you're going for any aspect, I'd rather get Aspect of Avian for the extra movespeed and the chance to double your damage. The problem is that if you're not going for cat + farrul, you'd have to adapt the setups in order to have enought reduced reservation to use the aspect. So I don't really see it as that worth going for.
I'm doing LGOH deadeye version and i don't see how i could reach instant recovery. My attack rate is 2.54 under perfect conditions excluding call of steel. Even i replace my gloves with 16% as and +1 frenzy charge i still don't reach even 3 attacks per second. But even if i somehow do it. It is 81 hits. Let's also imagine 2 T1 with catalysts so i will be getting 48 hp per hit. 81 * 48 = about 4000 hp/second ( in reality will be less ). Which is well pretty far from facetanking stuff. Also i have 5200 hp more than some deadeyes on poe.ninja and i constantly keep getting one shotted. T15 drox, harvest monster with some damage mods, hell, i have 200+ deaths, more than on any build, there is tons of things to one shot you since this build doesn't have any defences aside from dodge.
Btw look what i managed to craft, at least if i will finally give up on the build i can sell it and start something else with big chunk of currency.

Heya! Just checked your PoB and you seem to be rocking some items from the low budget setup. That version of the build is not supposed to face tank all content. You need to do some adjustments in order to have greater mitigation. Swap your CWDT + Immortal call setup for a CWDT lvl 20 + Steelskin lvl 20. Get rid of the cwdt with sniper's mark since you can't have an additional curse applied to the enemy. Get a cluster with Feed the Fury, Fuel the Fight and Martial Prowess for greater ASP. Also get an Offering to the Serpent with decent implicits. Try getting a Basalt Flask of Heat to use instead of your Quicksilver Flask.
Take a look at this setup with your character:

Fell in love with PoE and now it's my crack.

What if i really don't want to swap quicksilver? Out of many flaws, clunkiness of call of steel, some issues with survivability zooming under tailwind and quicksilver clearing monsters outside of your screen feels very nice. Also about gloves, i don't feel that glass cannon route is for me ( have had enough ), what do you think if i swap them for gloves with t1 life and attack speed instead? Or tombfist with corruption. Might go for frenzy/intimidate gloves with life and attack speed when i get more currency but after rolling t1 life and t1 hybrid with awakener's orb i feel i've wasted my luck for the remaining league.
Upd: just made some research seems like ms doesn't affect the speed of leap slam or whirling blades. May be quicksilver is really not needed here.

What do you think about leaving out one medium cluster jewel and putting in a large radius thread of hope on the top side giving acces to Assassination, will of blades, sleight of hand and master of force. For level 100 that is.
A little elemental resist hit and 7% hp less losing one jewel for tons more damage if I am correct.

Heya! Then the best option in your case is getting Gripped gloves with good life and attack speed. A Tombfist with + crit or vulnerability on hit would also work.
Regarding the QS thing, just get either attack speed during flask effect or movement speed on your Diamond Flask to increased your Leap Slam speed or MS.
Nonetheless, the setups I recommended you should help with survivability and increase your attack speed.

Heya! Neither Radius jewels nor Threshould jewels work while on clusters. You'd have to drop a large cluster entirely for that setup.
What about Kintsugi body armour? I think it pairs well with Wind Dancer
Heya! I'll include that in the next update to the guide, it is a good option for damage mitigation. Works well with the build if you manage to stack some evasion and dodge.
