I just discovered Grim Dawn and it beats POE and Last Epoch.

He hasn't gotten past A3 yet.

POE just isn't the game for him and that's OK, POE isn't for everyone.

Grim Dawn has some good ideas executed neatly but the actual gameplay is a snoozefest and slow like a turtle crawl. Diablo 2 has better action combat than Grim Dawn, and that's a decades old game.

I don't mind people talking about other ARPGs here, but it's a big difference between a thread such as "Hey guys, Grim Dawn is actually a decent game, here's what I like about it" and the ones that you go for such as "x ARPG beats PoE, PoE is inferior".

Keep in mind, I'm not hating, I actually like Grim Dawn.

Idk it was kind of boring lol. It seemed really charming but I just didn't get into it.

The only ones that clicked with me were Diablo 1, Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction, Untold Legends for some unknown reason (that game was actually garbage), and Diablo 3.

Playing Diablo 3 feels like my brain activity is going to fucking cease unless I'm doing the hardest possible greater rift though. PoE's delirium maps with an undergeared character is what that's like for comparisson.

They aren't suppose to compliment their rival product. LOok below, people recommending games isn't some strange behaviour. There are recommendation for Last Epoch, Wolcen, D2 Resurrected, Valheim, Slay The Spire, etc.

The hardcore haters have been doing that on the PoE forum for years now, still bitterly tilting at windmills, to no great success. =9[.]9=

I honestly think the only people who think POE is better than Grim Dawn haven't played Grim Dawn. I can honestly say I have never played any video game better than Grim Dawn, not even the Soulsborne series. Grim Dawn is so good that I don't think I will play any other video game much until I totally complete it and all its expansions and afterwards the huge Reign of Terror mod for it.
