If i level a character to level 50 and then i die. Does that count as a level 50 or does it have to be alive?

I have exactly the same question! and came here to ask.

I cannot see any small print but, the main text says "Reach level 50" it doesnt say "reach the end of the league with a character at 50 and still alive.

Another part of the text says "Leveling your characters to certain thresholds will also make you eligible for the randomly-drawn prizes" again, doesnt mention dying.

So my GUESS would be its ok to die after 50! I hope so because I am going for 60 now :)

So ... where can I see the actual mods? Why do I have to crawl the web, only to come up with the mods from last year in some random reddit thread? Input?
