Best Heist Build?
New to the game (less than a month). I've created quite a few characters to try and see which one was the best for heist, but have yet to find one. Could anyone recommend some good builds/guides for the best heist build?

There is probably no build which can be called "best". After all Heist is not based around speed clearing (you have to wait for your henchmen to open doors) or big boss fights.

My issue is dying a lot when trying to escape.

If you die you are too slow.
What you want for heist ist similar to a delve darkness farmer. High movement speed with phasing/life regen/freeze/dodge/smoke mine/berserk. Aka pathfinder with whatever fitting skill you want to do dmg with. |

You also have to change the idea that you should kill everything. The goal at some point is to cut and run. Deciding when to do that is a player issue, not so much a character one.
I tend to play "full clear" even if it takes a bit longer. You really have to get over that mindset and just book for the exit. Last edited by Shagsbeard#3964 on Feb 11, 2021, 8:07:23 AM

I'll give pathfinder a try as I do tend to enjoy fast gameplay. Is there any particular build that shines?

Slam Impale Champ or Jugg would do the job quite well. One hander with a shield doesn't slow your clear speed by that much. It's not a fast clearer but it's safe. Slam into Call of Steel clears any pack.

It's like ubber lab but more emphasis on good mindless AoE(basically things like ice shot or explody gmp awaken chain). Evasion characters are good starters. You want tailwind, a source of onslaugh and probably movement utility like a dash and phase run but you can go there with a "leaguestarter" agnostic trapper and it will work very well ^^'. If you die in heaist or feel a disconfort, just reroll a char, it is a content made for intensive grind not playing your house every other run.

On a low budget I would recommend a raider without a doubt.
