This doesn't make sense to me. You're reforging the boots after you've gotten elevated Tailwind on them. The only way to protect Tailwind is to do Suffixes cannot be changed - at which point, you can't get new suffixes, right?

And again, at the bolded part, at this point you have elevated Tailwind (Suffix) + Fire Resistance (Suffix) and have set suffixes cannot be changed, and then reforge it... to get Ignite (Suffix). The Ignite can't roll on it if the metacraft is locking the suffixes, right?

Or does the metacraft only lock the existing suffixes, and empty suffix slots can be filled? Admittedly the bit of Harvest crafting I did in 3.13 I only metacrafted to lock affixes with a full set of prefixes or suffixes, so I don't know.


The harvest craft is Reforge a rare item with Fire, INCLUDING a FIRE modifier. After you have Fire resistance on the boots there is no other fire mods on them. So this craft HAS to give you ignite or else it wouldn't work at all.
Meta Craft locks only existing affixes. New affixes of that type can still be added if you have room. Same thing with harvest reforge keep pref/suff crafts.


OK, that's the part I wasn't sure on. I thought it locked all three suffix slots, even if one of them was unoccupied. Didn't realize it would only lock existing suffixes but allow new ones to be populated. Thanks!

I would say this are the bare minimum required items. Can you play with less? Yes. This was my league starter. You can replace Cluster Jewels with nodes on the tree. But you should aim for the jewels sooner or later.

T16 is not so easy to answer. Throw something in POB together. 5 mio dps and close to 6k hp seems totaly ok for me. One small tip. Take inspired learning Jewel. This is nuts in Ultimatums. And wear a Belly to compensate less hp. That carried me to level 100.



Where exactly did you put inspired learning? I've been trying to figure out the best way to fit it into the build but haven't had any success yet.

Took a look at your character profile and definitely got some good ideas from your passive tree such as taking the minion dmg affects ur dmg nodes. Any chance you could link ur pob?

Whats the best way to go about crafting a good curse on hit ring with dex?
Say you want Curse+Life+Dex, do you just spam caster on harvest, alt+regal or fossils?
Is a jewel like this one ok?
Primordial Bond is near the start of the tree, and I need only 1 passive point to reach the small jewel socket on both sides

Just a question from a new player that got lucky to get a Doctor (20 ex on ps4) from a Div card.

I'm playing flameslinger elementalist (doing about 3 million dps) is burning arrow a direct improvement?

If yes, beside unique items and clusters are there some must have specific crafts (like mana reservation things?)
I've already looked at PoB, but maybe I'm missing something.

yep on softcore ultimatum
what's the best choice between these watcher's eyes, assuming I equip the correct auras?

one mod: dot malevolence (running wrath and malevolence auras)
one mod: phys as lightining (running wrath and malevolence auras)
two mod: phys as fire+phys as lightning (running wrath and anger auras)
the one mod dot malevolence is the most expensive (about 11 ex) so I assume it is the better option?

I get the max increase in dmg in PoB using the third one, but I dont know if I am setting up the calculation correctly.
