Echoes of the Atlas Lore: Creating the Maven

Heist dialogue is great, but not if you have to listen to it non-stop - it infuriated me during the last league. I had all this stuff turned off since the start of the Ritual, I didn't know I was missing out on so much, thnx for the post ;*

Lore <3

Also - amazing work.
.
I'm posting very late to these threads but can't help it as I have been re-reading all the lore for days now and appreciating all the effort. I love this post specifically because of the recent couple of "teasers" we've had for PoE2 and the sheer amount of reactive spoken dialogue of the player's exile. Just like the lessons learned form cassia and into maven, having a huge variety keeps us engaged while not getting bored/annoyed at repetition. It must take a long time to do (write, perform/record, tweak) and cost a lot, but man it is worth it.

I used to think PoE2 _needed_ fully rendered cutscenes (akin to diablo) to truly build out a story and be memorable to the audience. There is still a part of me that wants 30 hours of PoE cutscenes to watch, but honestly the voice acting and lore alone may be exactly what we need instead!
