I have the same issue as well. I disabled multithreading in the game and it seemed to run with no crashes but makes the game feel very lacking and choppy.
I also have a Ryzen 5 1600 processor |

Freezing then game closing, particularly during labyrinth. How fun.

In POE, I went to "Options", "Graphics" and set "Renderer" to "DirectX11" instead of "Vulkan (Beta)".
I am also using Process Lasso to Disable SMT. I have not crashed since, and my "deadly" lag spikes are only 1-2 times per hour. Luckily, I am playing my CWDT character, so lag spikes don't kill him, but it would totally kill *all* my other characters. This still needs to be fixed. experiencing random crashes as described in this thread and tried configurations suggested in the preceding pages. To this point of time without success.
System: - Win10 64bit - GeForce GTX 970 - AMD Ryzen 7 1700X - 16GB RAM - SSD POE run via Steam. Both installed to SSD. Reside in one&the same partition. Win10 64bit, therefore .exe run @64 bit (PathOfExile_x64Steam.exe) Any overlay turned off / set to 0 or faulty in ini-file @GGG-team pulled image-file. Let me know in case that is of help for you. @this tread: anyone with POE-standalone experienced such crashes? |
