Hey Chromino,

thank you very much for this detailed guide. I tried it this season and the tankiness finally starts to kick in. Just saving some currency for a watcher's eye with clarity and the spell block jewel.

But now I want to get the first large cluster jewel and I don't understand what to look for next to renewal. Why is call for slaughter good? The bonus to recently summoned won't be active for the hoag after x seconds right? I have some trouble to understand what kind of budget large cluster would be good enough to start and I'm already sitting on 6 unspend passive points :D

what es is the prio? renewal > raze and pillage (only for map clear) = rotten claws (bossing?) > call to the slaughter.

As Medium/Small I will get a pure agony one.

The only thing that is clunky for me is the raise of the spiders and I don't find enough gem slots for desecrate and frostblink/nova when I also have to fit in clarity next... I will switch that for flamedash I guess.

Thanks for all the work, you really did a good job for the community (:

Thank you Robale too,

hehe, it is much fun for me also and I am only thinking about limiting the build to one edition to make it easier and less confusing and to source out some variants on page 25 for special situations like only for level 98-100 to make it better to understand...

"what is the prio? renewal > raze and pillage (only for map clear) = rotten claws (bossing?) > call to the slaughter." yes, exactly in this order and this specialisation. Mainly the large clusters are also there to get the free slots for 4 medium clusters, small clusters and split personality jewels. When you are in urgent need of passives, you can switch out/ regret rotten claws or raze and pillage (they are always in the central, not for transit needed position of the cluster).

Large clusters are best with 8 skills and 2 jewel sockets, medium clusters are best with 4 and 5 skills (both equal) and 1 jewel socket, small clusters with 2 skills.

Call to the slaughter is not so bad, the HoA and spiders get movementspeed for damage-uptime in maps. But damage and attackspeed are only increasing 3 seconds.
For summon-phantasms-support, eventually in the HoA supports, it's a stronger notable, because they are summoned often and are fast killed.
Overall the large minion-damage clusters are more effective than defensive large clusters and full geared the build has more than enough tankyness.

For enough gemslots:

- take out concovation, the minions are immortal and cannot be killed and target everything you target with your ball-lightnings.

In the spoiler "skillmanager" are a lot 14 possibilities to get free skillsockets. In your set-up and gear I would advice to:

1) Put out flamedash and convocation

2) use frostblink for movement and raising spiders, push out withering step and ice nova (see spoiler "blizzard").As an instant skill it is in boss fight one of the best movement-skills. The divergent gemquality has fast cooldowns in boss-fights.

Then you have 3 free sockets for vaal grace (also without activating the aura for tankyness), clarity and increased duration for tankyness linked to molten shell, vaal discipline and vaal grace (the vaal skills will be a big increasement for your defences and tankyness) (...or if you prefer for more movementspeed phase run, it's no "blink" skill and no problems in combination with other movementskill-cooldowns, you can autotrigger it on the left mouse button 1 for example)

Tank you for this long answer (:

I will try the frostblink for flamedash, but I really love convocation for repositioning the hoag and against enemies with the range protection bubble.

Do you have any tips for crafting your own large cluster jewels (with harvest) because prices starting to ramp up and a jewel with 2 good nodes already costs around 225c+

The last thing is a tip I wanted to give for cheap mana reserveration.

Just buy a talisman with charisma annoint. Mine was 1c and it hast some okay stats on it.

This way I can stop using "Discord Artisan" with a 6l hoag and still have enough mana left for ball lightning (costs 34 and I have 53 left).

But as soon as I want to fit in clarity I guess I need rmr jewels or a cheap conqueror's efficiency.

You guys are awesome . Thanks for the answers will wait for the guide update. :)

Hehe, thank you a lot! I tested the mana-setup, only small changes overall are needed and are updated and will update the pob soon with 1× 1% more mana-reduction on jewels too.

OK after all the upgrades I am runing maps with ease (t4-5) coz i dont have higher tiers yet :) Ultimatums are a joke..just stand in the middle and thats it.Do deaths, no near deaths (without vaal discipline)I am working on my clusters for now.
One question tho.Do we need Auls with Determination or Discipline reserves no mana? That would open a spot for permanent grace let say..we need as much mana reserverd as we can right? Is it a good idea to get aul with whatever other stat..coz i saw some cheap on the market ..like with purity of fire and so

Minimum itemlevel for the large passive cluster jewels is 68 so we can have Raze and Pillage right? WIth one of this level is enough? The other one can be itemlevel 50?
Does the damage matter on the dagger, or just get the cheapest one?
Being level 84, still doing the chaos recipe, and yet I have 25,000 armor!!! This build is something special.
83 lvl and going better! Im excited with buying every new item because i can feel the difference.

But got a question. What is best way to spawn spiders? Specially when i dont have mobs to kill them? For example Baran? (i 2-3shottin him with only herald of agony but still looking for way to spawn my little friends)
OMG, level 70 with most of the uniques except the amulet and jewels and wow.

Just standing there during one of the trials with everything beating on me and my ES is barely going down.

Best way is :

Step 1 : Use Desecrate skill near yourself.
Step 2 : Use the Writhing Jar flask to spawn worms
Step 3 : Use Ice Nova once the worms popped off the flask.
Step 4 : You're awesome :)

Yes, like 0cean wrote.

In the spoiler "blizzard" are some more skills.

Ice Nova is most easy.

Frostblink is easy and fitting too and you get a free gemsocket.

Thank you a lot!
Yes, the build is developping with each cluster and gear and you can max and optimize it very far out! Never boring while gearing, also in high levels.
