Stress-Free PoE! RIGHTEOUS GOLEMS (RF): No Required Items! 1-Button Play! SSF League Start-End! 3.13
Well, you always state "Think yourself". So I don't think it's a problem. I like taking guides as gospel most of the time though :D Also those are just pointers towards what may be useful and what may not.
What I want to add to my list of usefuls is Commandment of Light for the gloves, this creates consecrated ground on crit. See you over at the zombo guide in time :P Want to play a beginner friendly, highly expandable and reliable build? "Hey jamie_4_1_0! It seems like your caught on to EE's explanation from other responses, but totally ask again if it's not clear. So, EE isn't as scary as it seems, you just need to take it into gameplay and see how you use Flash Dash. Things on paper are always different in-game. So, Flame Dash does hit at the end of its travel. So pay attention to how often you tend to use it. Not really while mapping, but in the crazy content with a Sirus Invader, Beyond Bosses, an Abyss open, all in the middle of Ritual (or something fun and crazy). You want EE to work for you in the harshest content. So watch how you use Flame Dash, and see how often Ball Lightning goes off. Sometimes it's hard to see but it goes off constantly for me (though I don't zip around with Flame Dash). You mentioned your build, was there something you were unsure about? The game is all about progress so I'm not sure which items are keepers or not for you. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Hey AndyLovesHisBge! The only time PoB's damage numbers make sense is if the circumstances match gameplay. So if the optimal circumstances for whichever damage revolve around lots of spells and debuffs being applied to the enemy, while all your flasks are up, on a certain ground type...it may be hard to reach. Sometimes, the circumstances are easy to reach. So I don't know your situation. I always make sure that my Configuration in PoB is minimal. That way I don't rely on much for my contentment. One thing though, just in case you're not, I suggest build planning with your enemy type set to Sirus. That way, you're always playing against the worst-case situation. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Cool LibraExAnima! I'm glad you've had fun tweaking! I hope your modifications worked out for you! You rock. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"That's awesome. I wish I had time to go over other builds with people but unfortunately, I don't. But I do like reading about what people change and experiment with for sure. It's interesting and has moulded many guide changes over the years. Thanks for all the posts. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

" I use Shaper but the damage is the same as Sirus. And I agree with all your other points. My question was more about burning. I mistakenly expected lots more damage when monsters were not actively in my circle than I am seeing. The only thing I can assume is that my damage is just not high enough for burning to have any effect on the big boys unless they are in my RF circle. |

":) Cool. And thanks! See you on the Zombie side. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"Ah ok. Cool. Ya, unless you changed the build entirely, your support gems are where your damage comes from. Or, at least, what gives your tree something to scale off of. So any other burning inflicted, if it's un-supported, will be marginal. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Would really like to use this scepter - is orb of annulment (and prayer) the only way to try and get rid of the "adds fire damage to spells"? Been reading up on using catalysts to reduce the likelihood certain mods don't come off but I'm not that confident in my crafting skills. And I don't think a "prefix/suffix can't be changed" option will work since the I don't want to risk the DoT multiplier. Any suggestions? I'm getting into late-stage maps and need to start crafting some gear as the trade market doesn't help me improve. Last edited by Rex_Urhole#2725 on Mar 2, 2021, 3:30:45 PM

"Hey Rex_Urhole! If you really like the weapon, I think an easier method would be to: - add Lightning or cold to Attacks somewhere on your gloves or jewellery. - Remove Ball Lightning from the build. - Increase the CwDT and Wave of Conviction and Purifying Flame to max level. That way you get to keep your sceptre and your "added fire damage to spells" will only apply to skills that already have fire on them. Thoughts? https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast
