[3.14] Dejuvenate's Flameslinger Elementalist. Best League starter and unethical clear speed

You should tick the sirius box in PoB. Its still one million damage which is great for zero investment in a no-summoner build.

I know you intended to use that build for early mapping but dps without sirus/shaper checked on in PoB is misguiding.


How do you think this will scale compared to a typical cold or chaos dot build endgame? Of course I didnt try it but I guess its way harder to scale the secondary flame wall dot compared to your typical cold dot build that can get up to 5 mil easily with good gear.

I tried making a LL trickster version in 3.12 in POB and got around 3.6m with half assed gear.

Pretty sure you can bring it higher with better fine tuning.

This is better than ED contagion for sure.

The coldslinger that Path of Math showcased with LL are at around 1.6m vortex Sirus dps + 500k creeping frost Sirus dps. So total of around 2.1m Sirus dps that's with around 10ex investment.

Forgot to add, this build will probably struggle against sirus as the fight is chaos dmg heavy. Our golems will die non stop.

I wont be planning to use this guy to kill sirus.

So this is the build i apparently stole from? Relying on uniques and half the DPS once you tick in the Sirus box? You seem more angry that someone found a better way to play the build. You come on someone elses post accusing them of "stealing your idea" when your POB is a shitshow compared to mine.

You don't seem to understand the mechanics of this build. You don't scale ignite, you don't take shaper of flames.

If you don't understand the build, you cant finetune it, enough said.

The POB was made just to simulate early game and not using expensive build, but feel free to flame a half empty geared POB that I made if that makes you happy.

I fine tuned it enough to double your damage with plenty more survivability. Also, theres spellslinger flame wall videos on youtube dating back to the beginning of heist, so get off my fuckin post. And I never said flame wall was an IGNITE. The ignite comes from Shaper of Flames + Kinetic Blast + Combustion which scales the secondary DOT even more. You literally are just mad because someone took an idea and did it better.

The worst part about you attacking my post is that I am not even league starting with the build because I have a better build to play, I was just putting a forum post up to give OTHER players ideas on something to use and instead I have you and your other 13 year old friends blowing up my post

The advantages of that sort of setup are you're not using your whole mana pool to reserve flame wall, instead, mana could be used to reserve auras, the damage is not an issue for this build, but survivability definitely is.

I've attempted replicating that using wand/shield combo, unfortunately, the issue is that secondary burn duration on flame wall is around 2 seconds, if you use GMP/Frostbolt/Ball lightning, the trigger rate is 4 seconds on the craft which leads us to potentially missing casts due to it triggering on dash, flame dash, shield charge, leaving you unable to apply the debuff.

So potentially late game, crafting a Warlord influenced staff can lead to some sick results, fire exposure on hit, up to 130-160 Burn/spell/fire damage.

For your current setup something like this is nearly mandatory.

For defense bastion of element would be nearly identical to bone barrier sitting at easily 2k shield, on top of that, we have 2 more possible choices, Glancing blows and stacking block + %hp recovery shield OR path all the way to shadow area and grab No witness for phasing + acrobatics.

So layer-wise we would have:

Max res
5-6k life
2k shield
3-5% life recovery on max block
around 600-800 regen if you're running stone golem/ vitality

OR

5-6k life
2k shield
45+ dodge/ elusive effect, forcing your minions to tank, if we stacked some defensive gems on the golems and the fact they respawn every 4 seconds, this could lead to a decent meat shield.

I just want you and your friends off my forum post, I could care less how you play spellslinger. But if you wanna compare builds, and say someone stole something from you, when you yourself are not even the creator of this build (go look up spellslinger flame wall on youtube) theres 50 others just like ours, then at least make a POB that doesnt suck. You had 110 points and all the links and mechanics in place in your POB and even with Sirus unchecked in POB your dps was not as high as mine.
