A Brief History of the Atlas Lore

I just hope we will have a better map conversion ...having up too 4 and 5 turning into the same map is BS and then too many are almost impossible to obtain
I think Conquerors was my favorite.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE eldritch powers and mystery, but to have our foes be people like us, heroes (or former heroes) who went into the Atlas again and again and again, mirroring what we as players do in endgame.
It felt like we were fighting ourselves, in a sense.

That made the Conquerors stand out from the more standard "Mr Evil McEvil" that was the Elder, for example.

It's like I often tell my friends when talking final bosses in games.
What was coolest in Megaman X? Fighting "Generic giant Sigma robot nr 20", or fighting Zero?
Or what was cooler in Skyrim? Fighting "Generic dragon nr 700", or fighting Miraak, another Dragonborn just like us.

I felt the Conquerors had that same feel. They felt like MORE of a threat, exactly because they weren't just some generic "big bad", bur rather more like us... And we slay generic big bads for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Huge poggers! Can't wait.
The ebullience of being in a constant state of ecstasy, is exhilaratingly euphoric.
The shaper quotes are very very interesting too bad there's no way to hear them more frequently but in a greater way like sort of speech.

I will see I'm usually deep into the lore of the games that I play and try to speculate even tho dev's usually don't give clear answers themselves sometimes for whatever reason.
"Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

Once you break the cycle of fear no angels or demons can whisper you their sweet nothing words.

Retired since crucible.(Not a free tester anymore for a multi billion dollar company).
What ever you do to the Atlas in 3.13, i just hope that it will let player play endgame like they want to, not like YOU want us to... How about not having an infinite grind to get to T16 maps ?

I'll wait to see how Harvest is implemented in 3.13 because without reliable deterministic crafting i'm out for good...
Path of Exile is a Casino for gambling addicts.
Gambling is not fun nor a game mechanic...
Can we just make maping easier more constant like 100% map drop from the boss so every boss we kill we move from map to map progressing the atlas?
Get rid of the rng
With the new system i dont even get in to red maps or do yellow maps.
I get stuck somwhere around T5-T7 only.
Can we have an optional alternative to mapping? Like something totally sustainable in itself? Maybe add Sulphite nodes in Delve so we don't have to map to Delve.

Heist is great though, it's pretty sustainable more or less, so that's totally a step in the right direction. Can we also purchase contracts with rogue coins perhaps?
Sounds like a "Kalandra" league which in PoE 2 btw the mirror might not drop anymore and which also it might be the last league because there is literally all leagues into one league so we have all of them one more time to enjoy before everything is gone
The rng and high potential to run in circles until there is actual progression is whats frustrating with mapping. I know you built the game around insane amount of rng and everything is about 'who can roll the dice the most wins', but still dont understand why a more sustainable alternative hasnt been introduced yet. Delve had alot of potential to be more casual slow progression over complete rng. Even Syndicate could have been reworked to make for an endgame puzzler with less rng.

When you drop a low tier map, put a watchstone in that region then run the same map you just ran. It should drop a higher tier
