Past Atlas Expansions: A Recap

My dream for the new "Endgame":

There would be no mapdrops beside the unique ones.
A vendor would sell all maps (starting at tier 1) for a scroll of wisdom each with unlimited supply.
The more you play the higher you can buy all those maps.
(The atlas in the background could still give bonus for completed maps to have a feeling of progress)

I would kick out all random core-mechanics on maps - beside the actual league one and let us players select 1-3 league-mechanics we want to encounter - and those would be free of costs.

I would get rid of all additional sources of drops like sextants, scarabs etc. - making only the maptiers and amount of maps you play the source of your drops - no more 200 chaos+ investments into a single map to get 2+ times the currency back. Close the gap - make ppl play the same game.

If streamers get the question if they play a mod or on a private server .. because of the amount of drops on juiced up maps - something is wrong with the options to boost those.

Maybe with all this it would not feel like working poe but playing it again for players that do not play this game to earn money, clicks, likes subscribes or whatever.


just my 2 cents from a "casual" having played 30k+ maybe 40k+ hours since 8/2011 and not having a single lvl 100

The dream is to start a new character already on the atlas without having to do acts again.

I'd just like us to have some of the QoL features that the Chinese are allowed to have, but for some reason the rest of the world isn't. The in-game flask macro would be my biggest wish, to save us all the pain of RSI / Carpel Tunnel / Arthritis when we are older. Towards the end of a league I need to break to rest my damn hands.

The auto loot pick-up pet sounds good, but tbh I dont know much about that.

I just don't get why they have two different sets of rules, one for China, one for the rest?

Please fix problem with fps on delirium in game.

What if each map had a single base Tier, but watchstones boosted it. You still have to farm up to Tier 16, but if you have 2 watchstones, all Tier 1 are boosted to 2. If you have 32, all Tier 1-13 are boosted to Tier 14.

In that way you could keep the upside of current system (all maps higher level) without the insanity of having many tiers per single map.

I remember the boat scene from POE 2 Announcement. I think new expac gonna be part of it...
