Our Reasoning Behind the 3.13 Launch Delay

Please take your time on this, I'm glad you were able to change the release date without major issues internally. I know how bad is to make adjustments to release schedules, specially related to games.

I'm sad people think about this as an affront for the player base and don't try try to understand what it would cause to the company and the game they "say" they love.

I'm not the one to judge what you decided, your are the one who is responsible to make the homework and determine what is best for your success and player base. Since you decided this I totally support and believe it's the best.

Sad I will not be playing on December? Yes. Disappointed with this company who provided one of the best current games and try their maximum to be clean and communicate with their players? Not even a little bit.

RIP the holiday i planned in december specificly to play and stream PoE's new league and not Cyberpunk as all of GGG will be playing it sounds like... (how many ARPG players care about Cyberpunk?)... i got yelled at in my work for planning my holyday this way... and now have to go back to get yelled at agian and get a No to move my holiday :/

Thank you for the transparency and honesty Chris. I quite appreciate the shift to a 4 month cycle for this coming league, especially considering the state heist launched in.

It's a shame we won't have a league for christmas, but I'm sure whatever events you come up with will engage players for some leveling and or shenanigans. Might be time to bring back the battle royale!

Again thanks for the update, and for delaying the league so it can both be populated for those who would play anyway, and so it can be fully fleshed and less buggy for those who wouldn't. It was the best decision, even though you feel it was forced you made the right call that hubris may have precluded in other studios.

I'm really excited about that. I'm not at all ready to try and go hard after that mess of a PS4 Heist release. My brain's still recovering from like an entire week of being pissed off. Any kind of event would be fricken fantastic though.

How is it admitting a loss to understand that people can only play one game at a time? Everyone who pays attention at all to the games industry should know this is the most overhyped game since No Man's Sky. I don't care how good your game is, you will lose player count if you launch at the same time. That's not admitting defeat, that's admitting someone else's success. The industry isn't a zero sum game, everyone can thrive, they just can't all thrive at once. The only one admitting defeat here is you.
