will the "invisible" MTX get rid of "elusive" from passive tree?
I have a dreading feeling the answer will be "no"
My issue is I put a lot of time into designing how my character will look by changing all the skills colours and stuff, as well as armour and effects (essentially everything that can be tweaked, I'll tweak. although I've not messed with head attachments yet. I do plan on getting some eyes soon though, for head pieces that reveal the face) a green tinge on my character 90% the time was not planned, and I have nothing that fits this effect (I changed all the skills purple and celestial and stuff) Will the MTX to remove buffs visual effects be any good, or does it need to be applied to a gem? The cluster in question is the "no witness" one, and I'm seriously considering just going without this node, as it's a total deal breaker as it stands. If I could just change it blue or purple, it wouldn't be an issue. I guess what I'd also like to know, is if I don't take this cluster, am I going to hamstring myself, please? (caustic/toxic rain Trickster) I can see it's benefits and it is great, but I didn't spend a lot of money to have my character look a certain way, and then have it ruined by a colour that completely clashes. PS: please implement a way (MTX will do fine) to change these effects. they completely ruin any fashion you make, unless by chance it matches it. Green doesn't match much, unless it's a green fashion to begin with. and I planned this dude to be purple/others (I'm constantly switching between pieces and finding new sets, but I generally have some purple in there, as my skill skins are purple, and I tend to use the celestial aura skin a lot, too) and for the most part, green and purple just looks like the joker. I've just had to grow to like it, the buff is too good to pass up on. ha ha.
An idea for the future though, MTX that can modify the visual parts of buffs on the passive tree, too. Tyrs Paladium - DoT Enthusiast. Last edited by Umbral_Spectre#0144 on Oct 3, 2020, 10:59:23 AM

" I just ended up telling myself, my character was entering "spectral form" which is why he has the increased mobility and speed and stuff. The colour does look quite "ghostly" I think. I changed my fashion to a more fitting style as well, to something that looks like it would use a "spectral form" and now I'm happy with it. It threw me off at first, as I am so into customising my characters, an unwanted effect showing up was not ideal. I just had to take a step back and work it into the lore of the character though, and now I'm OK with it. It is definitely an idea for the future though, MTX that change visual effects gained from the passive tree. I would certainly buy such MTX. You could have much more fancy effects going off instead of the slight character tint. Like an Elder one, a Stygian one etc. I think other players would like this as well. It adds another dimension to customisation. Tyrs Paladium - DoT Enthusiast. Last edited by Umbral_Spectre#0144 on Oct 3, 2020, 11:07:52 AM
