making so mobs in heist dont raise alert lvl

I know no one cares but for now at least im done with league, sucks too because I have 4 days off. But I cant see playing a league mechanic called Heist where you literally can do whatever you want and guards dont get alerted at all. The whole basis of the league was you need to weigh risk vs reward to go for that certain treasure but now there is no risk you just take everything.

You might as well just make heist 1 single room put tons of monsters in there and some treasure and call it a day. You said you spent all this time on this league then allowed people to push you into making it easier, some of us have been with you for 10+ years and are not happy with literally every league you killing the game and dumbing it down. Anyway Im not a big complainer dont really like to complain because in general I have enjoyed this game for last 11 years. But last year or so you have made it hard for me to support you.

They could fix this by, I dunno, increasing the alert level from looting chests. That would both make more sense (since clearly the artefact's display case has alarms on it, why not also rig the chests?) and not cause balance issues with builds that don't have a choice on whether or not to fight.

They could also increase alert level from opening doors.

I don't really understand how you can say PoE is getting dumbing down... The game keep growing and getting more complex than ever. Pushing away new player with Multiple league over another, multiple crafting technique only accessible to those that life this game and soo many technical aspect and new skill added every 3 months.
I don't think adding a few Quality-of-life change = dumbing down. We have to wait and see how it turn out. There many player that have issue with alert system and monster kill.

If this game get any dumbing down, it would be going back 10 years ago. When you just kill monster slowly with a single attack, doing a single gameplay mechanist, doing the same campaign 3 times in a row.. Let's call it Diablo 2. PoE has grow soooo much sure it is no longer the same game. And I look forward to PoE2 and the rework to skill gem system. Hope they keep reworking the combat with more than a single button spam. Really liking the warcry and Steel build.

Dumbing down by making it easier and easier. I miss the days of having to farm for stuff, having to earn stuff. I mean look at drop rates now compared to when we started. Literally people complained about the amount of drops in Delerium and not getting enough...

Do less trading, do more crafting
The problem is that the killing increases alert level mechanic had waaay to many issues.

The first being it resulted in a lot of players just running around in circles waiting for the heist ais to open stuff, which is just kinda stupid and not fun as a mechanic.

Second being that a couple of the ais themselves were having issues where they prioritized killing mobs over listening to player's commands

The last big point I can think of ties in with the last one, in normal contracts and even more so in the grand heists the ais killing stuff despite you just running through packs was enough to make a big dent in the alert bar with no fault of the players (especially certain heist members with aoe attacks)


But overall the killing raising the bar had no decision making involved as the layouts don't really offer alternative ways to go to avoid getting enemy attention, opening doors will aggro entire rooms occasionally, etc

So removing it was the right choice no matter what. At least with it gone they don't have to try and fix the slew of issues involved with it. And past this either it just stays this way or they implement some new mechanics a bit later to make it more challenging.

I mean at least some of the escapes are hard as long as the enemies spawn en masse.

when does new league start?
YUP ... WAAAAAY to easy now ...even a blind monkey with no arms can do it now.

NO need to think about anything , except choosing which small chest to not open this time around each heist in order to avoid lock down, besides that kil everything adn open the rest.


Did some streamer cry over it wasn fast enough ?

When u log back in the next day after work, looking forward to a great league just to find out that the whole point of the league where u needed to look at opportunity cost was deleted.

I cant actually believe this is real. Like i might as well not play the league mechanic its just atziris vaults at this point this is a such a garbage change i have no words.
